  1. Got to disagree. JDT keeps sayingthe same thing. He is managing expectations. We are a long way off what he wants from us. Not sure why he persists with Morton but clearly feels something there more than our youth. He says we have been punching above our weight all season in terms of the table position..he sees this as a long term project so if we don't make play offs this season that's not the be all and end all.
  2. Any good vpns recommend to watch the game on rovers TV from UK?
  3. Rovers: Aynsley Pears, Joe Rankin-Costello, Hayden Carter, Dom Hyam, Harry Pickering, Tyler Morton, Lewis Travis, Ryan Hedges, Sam Szmodics, Ben Brereton, Sam Gallagher Subs: Thomas Kaminski, Callum Brittain, Scott Wharton, Jake Garrett, Adam Wharton, Sorba Thomas, Tyrhys Dolan
  4. Definitely. Where is the Rotherham who beat us with a few goals?! Playing wba at home and losing! come on!
  5. Cheers. Good to know. Without seeing him play I find it hard to judge, highlights are minimum and few quotes about his training efforts from JDT. Looking forward to seeing him in the rovers shirt for years to come!
  6. the most sensible summary i've read so far
  7. i think they both are and both have their individual strengths but if a club came calling in the summer and offered ££ who would we sell first?
  8. Do you think they will both be happy to stay and fight it out? Considering we just extended all the youth GK contracts?
  9. Listening to the "what now" 4000 Holes Podcast today got me thinking.... Pears and Kaminski... What should we do this summer? Keep both? Sell one? If so who? Who will be no.1 next season and going forward?
  10. Great podcast! Good episode again today, definitely got me thinking of a new thread...pears or kaminski plans this summer!
  11. Mate that's a whole thread in itself!!!
  12. “I had goals coming in on loan, it’s my first loan, so I wanted to knuckle down and get what I could,” said Morton, who this week signed a new-long term contract with Liverpool. “I wanted to work hard for whatever I got. “It’s a big shock to play this many games but I’m really happy with getting trusted this much and I’m really happy with how it’s gone." https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23241839.tyler-morton-reveals-liverpool-appraisal-blackburn-rovers-loan/ "If you’re not used to playing 46 games a year then you should definitely not play 46 games a year because you will get injured. “Also the next thing is to develop youngsters within our surrounding and environment." https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23437101.jon-dahl-tomasson-gives-blackburn-rovers-injury-news-latest/ Interesting update from JDT about game time(he is not specifically in talking about Morton)
  13. Haha. Ok let's turn this around. Can we name his strengths?!
  14. "Jack (Vale) got injured against Leicester. He will be out for a while with his ankle, he got a kick on his ankle in the 90th minute and he didn't even get a free-kick." "Maybe, I am not sure," Tomasson added. "We have the international break so we don't need to push them and that can help us get some load into the boys." https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-injury-dack-update-26430377 The reporting on these injuries isn't always that clear, I wonder if its is a chatgpt generated article
  15. Any ideas what he means about Jack?? “Jack is a question mark over whether he will be around at the end of the season. “Buckley is out for the season but is working hard to be ready for next season." https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23437101.jon-dahl-tomasson-gives-blackburn-rovers-injury-news-latest/ I thought Jack signed a contract extension until 2025? https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23073182.blackburn-rovers-hand-new-contract-striker-jack-vale/
  16. I think this is spot on. This sounds exactly how JDT comes across in interviews and judging by how pears and JRC were due to be loaned, didn't, worked hard and have cemented their place in starting 11 suggests that like Travis, if Wharton does get on with it in training he may have an opportunity. Hopefully we will see him playing again soon
  17. imagine another season long loan 😮
  18. "Edun's contract at Blackburn runs until the summer of 2024, with the option of an additional 12 months.11 Jan 2023" Looked like he had a tsf to Charlton in Jan that collapsed. Guess we will get a new no. 7 this summer?
  19. Still not sure why he doesn't even get on the subs bench for Birmingham. Or why he doesn't get to replace Morton for 5-10mins.
  20. So much noise on the forums around him I thought I'd start a thread! Haha! We've seen the quotes from JDT but something is going on. Lack of update despite talking about the others selection calls https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23429325.up-speed---tomasson-explains-blackburn-rovers-selection-calls/
  21. blimey mate hadn't even considered that as an option. i hope not..
  22. i agree and suggested this yesterday as well, think it would be good to see JRC in that position, sadly Brittain didnt look that great on Saturday but not many did ! would be good to see JRC in a CM role
  23. Blimey. Sounds like he's not even one for the future?!
