Thanks for sharing careful management and good sports science and nutrition makes sense - do we have confidence in the club investing in the right medical and sports science department? Does the club have that level of foresight? Or is it a case of oh he’s available and cheap sign him and we’ll figure it out, and then he will be poorly managed and then eventually leaves us (obvs different but suddenly siggy is a regular for his new side despite being injured for us for months)

Yeh I think the u21s isn't about comparison between England and England u21s they are definitely a different category but like islander says it's all about recognition. Mainly it's that opportunity to play with quality players who are a cut above the rest and from different leagues (usually prem) so hackney is decent and has got something about him and is rated but he is no Wharton. I also wondered if the costs and value have changed in the past 18 months. If a club were to buy hackney in Jan 2023 it may have been 15m.
