From a new managers perspective there is certain things they know.
the last two managers have walked out on the club.
The owners do not speak to you.
The owners are not investing into the club themselves
You will have to sell and play with a majority of loans and short term deals. Small transfer fees allowed.
You report to 4 people, maybe 2, maybe 1.
The club has not protected its value by not renewing contracts in over 12 months. What does this suggest?
From a players perspective, it’s the same as the above. The next three months are critical. Do the players really want to do this every year? Especially are better players.
The club has known for at least 12 days that we will need a manager. “Finding the right one” isn’t an excuse to be slow. They obviously didn’t have someone in mind, but any potential good manager would have to stay clear considering the problems coming down the line with lack of investment and contracts. A foreign coach who knows their reputation will be fine or a lower league manager will take the risk.
