New manager wishlist

From a new managers perspective there is certain things they know. the last two managers have walked out on the club. The owners do not speak to you. The owners are not investing into the club themselves You will have to sell and play with a majority of loans and short term deals. Small transfer fees allowed. You report to 4 people, maybe 2, maybe 1. The club has not protected its value by not renewing contracts in over 12 months. What does this suggest? From a players perspective, it’s the same as the above. The next three months are critical. Do the players really want to do this every year? Especially are better players. The club has known for at least 12 days that we will need a manager. “Finding the right one” isn’t an excuse to be slow. They obviously didn’t have someone in mind, but any potential good manager would have to stay clear considering the problems coming down the line with lack of investment and contracts. A foreign coach who knows their reputation will be fine or a lower league manager will take the risk. -

Well he is the current favourite for the job. So I would suggest it’s more relevant than Carlo Ancelotti. -

Doesn’t really matter about Pears. Makes sense if something needs to be paid for. That is the situation now. For me anyway. There are countless players that would have improved us snapped up. It’s over three weeks into the window and we are worse. Out fixtures have been kind this month, and only beat Portsmouth at Ewood. There is no ambition to go up. There never will be with these owners. And we all know that. It’s the hope that convinces you otherwise, which I understand. We will get some players this week, and they will probably be very very underwhelming. Adjusting the mentality now to avoid disappointment. We will never get promoted with Venkys. -

Personally would stick Hedges as the left back. He can’t offer anything in attack. Beck needs a break, he is a walking injury waiting to happen. Play Beck further up as he is more of a threat than Hedges. -

Probably Mason Malia. I sent him to Rudy via LinkedIn during the summer. too late now, Spurs had a bid rejected a few weeks ago. Was in the millions. -

Weirdly this story isn’t from Alan Nixon. A random account on Twitter posted it. Nixon has copied it word for word. Other alternative is the other story is Nixons too. Odd -

Can’t see permanent signings in the front line. Significant investment in loan signings is what I expect. I mentioned previously Nathan Broadhead would be perfect. Ali Al Hamadi would make a lot of sense. Emmanuel Dennis will be available on a loan from Forest. Ricky Jade Jones could move on so Peterborough can make some profit. I like the idea of Dennis, something to prove and has obvious ability. JE could get the best out of him. Broadhead should be the key target. -

Nathan Broadhead at Ipswich could be an option. Would expect Ipswich to buy another forward in January. With Poku injured, I would think Jade Jones will be sold. Out of contract in June. -
Cantwell doesn’t have much of a bargaining chip. This is it for him. If he fails with us he is going to the US, League One or Australia. Spoke with a Rangers fan last night, he said he was quality but Rangers is not a good place to be right now with a lot of players unhappy. He is singled out. He is a bigger unit that I excepted. Happy with the deal if it’s some 1million.
