I can’t see it ever getting to 20 million. Tottentham and Newcastle are not going to pay 20 million+.The loan player can help us this season. And is very very highly rated. -

Obviously there are many clubs interested in Wharton, those interested are not in a position to blow 15-20 million on a rookie for the future. Palace are going earlier as they know the price would be higher in the summer. Smart on their end. 18 million with add ons, with Saki on loan until the end of the season. -

Does anyone have an idea of who the people are in the EFL that rejected the registrations? -

I went to many protests 10 years ago and was warned to not come back to Blackburn. My brother brought be for my 30th 6 years and was told to leave the pub. Not sure there is a correct way to demonstrate. Protest impact the team. Social is probably the best way as it keep the players out of it. -

Maybe over dramatic. But I was a full explanation from the club. Waggot and GB need to explain what happened. Mistakes happen and that is fair enough. But not on deadline day. Not with promotion on the line. No with the best midfielder in the league at stake. The reason is now a right off. Then we scrape a few signings over the Summer. We do not have a right to get promotion, opportunities do not always present themselves and we are now staring down the barrel of years in mid table. For all of us, we live and breathe the club, this feels like a dagger to the heart. Mistakes are not ok, there is too much at stake. -

The LOB issues are pretty specific. So I’m confused as to why the young lad is in the same boat. -

If we have no ambition to be in the play offs. Would we not have been safer sell BBD and Rothwell and have money to reinvest. I can’t see how the summer will be any better apart from needing to sell Dack or TK. I also can’t understand they lack of movement for a midfielder. None of them a playing well. When Wharton is back from injury he should start. -

Surely with the profile of the number nines we are linked with, it’s soon to be the end of Sam Gallagher. Can’t see a place for him going forward. it’s so late in the window, there is nothing GB will do to make this window a success which is incredibly frustrating. The midfield is not a top 6 midfield. Not even close. if we have no money, then Rothwell should have been sold. Ben should have been sold. We now go into the summer with no money and without Ben. And Dack in the last 12 months of his contract, will need to be sold. Not the most positive time, three wasted windows, with zero money recouped. I still back GB. I don’t care how hard they worked, you need to get stuff over the line otherwise you fail. This window has been a failure. -

Two years ago he was awful with fans booing him. The club was in the middle of a pandemic with a closed stadium. They probably thought there was no panic, he goes to Chile that Summer and everything changed. I don’t think we will be in this position again. But an asset will to be sold in the summer. And hope Rays moves. -

The hierarchy at the club has already said that we need to stop allowing players leave for free. In fact JDT says it basically every single press conference. So constantly complaining about it on a daily basis, when GB has been in charge for about 7 months is ridiculous. My point on Chelsea losing players on a free is that it can happen to anyone. Yes, we don’t want it to happen, and yes we need to sell to buy. Maybe the new keeper comes in and we sell TK for 6 million in the summer. That would be the strategy working, but we need to give them time to do it. -

Replacements are not relevant. No matter what budget you have, if a player doesn't want to sign a new contract then he will leave on a free. Burnley lost players in the Summer for free. The fact Chelsea can buy a replacement doesnt change the fact that the player can do what he wants. And the market has leaned that was for the last 12/18 months and will continue to do so. They probably expected Darragh and Ryan to agree new deals. Nobody was talking about Ben needing a contract 18 months ago when he wasn’t worth 2 million. Plus they club was broke. In the space of 5 months his value went up from 2/3 million to 15/16 million. I don’t think anyone wants anyone leaving on a free but the circumstances of the last 18 months has a lot of context. And we have talked about it into the ground. -

Any chance we can get over the players leaving for free thing. It happens. Chelsea lost 2 centre backs on a free. Pogba left United for free. It’s happens. People would have loaned if we sold Ben in August too.
