If the wages are too high for Rushworth and Travers then am happy enough that they have found somebody else as they need to try and stay within wage structure set.(Not high enough for me but cant do anything about it) Let’s hope they can get him signed as would rather have him that Ruddy.

Having watched Beck and Gent last season, I was far more impressed with Beck. Both were good, and yes the standard is not great but I think the signing of Beck will really challenge Pixie. I think Gent would have got game time at some point but fair play to the lad wanting to play more often. Beck loves to get on the ball, drives forward and has a really good delivery. Defensively he has to improve positionally but will improve. Shame we can’t get him permanently as it was rumoured he was heading to Celtic on those terms.

For 1.5 mil, I am surprised we have not been linked with Luke McCowan from Dundee. Big jump in level but he is improving all the time and in last year of his deal

Some of his transfer dealings have been bad but blame must lie also with the recruitment staff who he is in charge of. Positive steps from him is tying up players on longer contracts which longer term earn us money once the are moved on. Could Rudy Gestede be a suitable replacement?

Yes he had a shocker of the game but don’t for one minute think there is anything malice in it. Just a poor performance from him that got worse. For me the manager is more at fault, Dom was struggling and should have been taken off at half time and replaced by Carter.

I think we would have been better keeping DJ in charged. I have not been convinced yet by Eustace but hope he can steer us away from bottom end of table and start a fresh next season

My point was that JDT wasn’t playing Travis so he was moved out. Similar to Buckley in the summer. We all know the issues with Venkys and don’t disagree with your points regarding them
