As much as I would like the Venky’s to sell they are damned if they speak out and damned if they don’t. Reassurance that funding is there until the Court matter is dealt with is a positive for me. Lets see what the club can do to back the manager in the next few days.

Didn’t say he hasn’t made mistakes but to say he has failed surprises me. Has he not done something that previously everybody has complained about. Not having players on longer contracts, this has been sorted which will eventually make the club much needed mine. He is also overseeing a number of departments, too much for my liking. Would love to know more what our scouts have seen in these players. My full blame is with the owners for the state of the club and nobody else.

I often see people having a go at Broughton, but I can’t see what he can really do. The Venkys have changed the budgets consistently since he came in which means we are shopping in the bargain basement. Not all deals work well. Just need to look at what other clubs spend and waste. He has sorted out the issue with getting players under longer contracts and make fees so for this reason I think Gally will move on. JDT is in the same boat as Broughton. Not a fan of Waggott, we could do so much more to attract fans but doesn’t seem interested. Ultimately though, all the above are employees and cannot work to their best and this is down to the Venkys. Question is how do we attract other buyers that can persuade them to sell.

I didn’t expect us to be challenging for top 6 with the changes the club are going through. For me I would sell Gallacher, due to his injury record, poor goal scoring record. If we could get a fee and high earner off the books then that’s a plus. If the trading model is going to work it will take time but deals like this must be accepted.

Would keep the DOF and get rid of CEO as at least we see what the DOF is trying to do with constraints placed on it since he came in.

Let hope Sunderland don’t get Moore and come in for Gallacher as could be doing with getting him off the wage bill and try and get a striker that actually scores goals

I would suspect if Garrett leaves that a replacement will come in that has not been mentioned in the press and that is the way it should be

Not sure what Broughton can do when his criteria has changed due to the owners. They are solely to blame for this mess

Travis wasn’t going to play much as doesn’t fit JDT style so can understand a move but worried there is more to it that any of us know

Waggott needs to be replaced with somebody that understands the fans. What is John Williams up to these days? Even at 84 he could run the show a lot better

Gregg did say it would not be a busy January and it certainly looks like it. Despite this I think JDT will be disappointed that a striker hasn’t been brought in.
