Good win for Coventry today and QPR continuing their good form. QPR have a very difficult run in though. Looking at the above and today's results, I am going to say that this week's ones to watch are Watford and Coventry. I think West Brom, Bristol and Sheff W may start to fall away. I am not commenting on Rovers...

Is it a case of wanted Foreshaw to sit deep to allow Trav to get forward more? Feel like he thinks this will allow more of an attacking threat, but odd after the way we played against West Brom. ACD was poor when he came on. Not convinced - hope they prove me wrong! -

I’d be very disappointed if ACD starts. Foreshaw actually looked better than I thought he was going to, but then my expectations were very low! If Buckley is injured, we really need Tronstad back ASAP. -
I’ll try and update the thread as we progress through the end of the season. Will be an interesting game PNE v Burnley.

Just looking at the run ins of the teams in contention. I know there are no easy games in the championship, but everyone seems to have lots of tricky games with the teams around them West Brom have got Leeds, QPR, Burnley, Norwich, Sunderland, Bristol, Watford, Coventry Bristol City have Middlesbrough, QPR, Sheffield United, Norwich, Burnley, Watford, West Brom, Sunderland, Leeds Sheffield Weds have Coventry, Burnley, Sunderland, Norwich, Sheffield United, Rovers, Boro, Watford Boro have Watford, Bristol City, QPR, Rovers, Leeds, Sheffield W, Norwich, Coventry Coventry have Sheffield W, Sunderland, Sheffield U, Burnley, West Brom, Boro Norwich have Rovers, Sheffield W, Bristol, West Brom, Sunderland, Burnley, Boro Watford have Boro, Bristol, West Brom, Burnley, Rovers, Sheff W We have Norwich, Boro, Sheffield W, Sunderland, Watford, Sheff U After tonight’s win adding in QPR: they have Sheff U, West Brom, Boro, Leeds, Bristol, Burnley and Sunderland. Sheff W, Bristol and QPR’s run in looks brutal. Think Boro maybe have the best run in so may take a spot QPR and Coventry are in good form but have tough fixtures coming up. Who has momentum? Who do you think will make the play offs?

Sorry just out for dinner - not for Valentine’s 😂 Feel free but may need to add QPR in, although their run in also looks tough -

Plymouth have done really well recently but they have also had a penalty in each of their last three games. Hopefully we can keep them from scoring…and not give a penalty away. Need to be disciplined. -
I think Pasha would inform them if it was a discussion and I think they would care. Not because they care about the club, but after sacking him when we were in the Prem, their egos would not allow it.
-
Can we have a constant round of ‘we want Venky’s / Pasha / Waggot out, say we want Venky’s / Pasha / Waggot out’. Changing the names every now and again.
-
I would love Big Sam back, especially after that cheeky wink at the end of that clip, but there is no chance in hell Venky’s would allow that. I genuinely don’t know who I would pick out of that Nixon list. I just know that I don’t rate O’Neil.
-
I’d go: Pears Brittain Hyam Batth Beck Travis Buckley Dolan Dennis Kargbo Gueye I don’t think Dennis liked being out wide (hopefully just struggling with fitness so didn’t do any running when out wide!)
-
It’s even more frustrating that results seem to keep going our way. He would genuinely still have had a shot at top six. I hope the players rally tomorrow. And I hope negotiations don’t break down because his situation is now untenable. We would be left with a manager that clearly doesn’t want to be here and will have likely lost the dressing room. There is no way they would sack him as they wouldn’t want to pay him off!
-
Disgraceful statement. As a club, we should act with more class, but it’s difficult when those running the show are classless. ‘Significant investment’ - it’s just laughable. When will the media pay attention to what is going on I am gutted. I had hoped that JE would have stayed until the end of the season, especially the way he has talked about togetherness and connecting the fans and players. Going on about a Blackburn family. I really thought that meant he knew what the owners were like but would try for the fans and the players, at least until this season was done. The players will be fuming; will that turn Wednesday into a terrible performance as a protest or light a fire in their bellies. Who knows, but I just pray it’s the latter I would love it if we somehow managed to get into the playoffs and got promotion. Would that increase our chances of getting rid of these absolute scumbags? Probably not but I can dream!

Does anyone know what cars Steve and Suhail drive? If so, can we print a mixture of Eustace’s face, Adam Wharton, Sammie and a mixture of posts from here and stick them all over their cars.
-
Every time I think a team is going to go on a little run or get a result they don’t. Bristol City lost to Swansea today. A few earlier additions and we could have been solidly in 5th with a nice gap. I still have hope but we need to keep Eustace and get Tronstad back ASAP.

I actually think we have done well, apart from two soft goals. I like the look of Ribeiro and Kargbo. Dennis looks better than I thought he would after time out. We are missing a lot of key players. Cantwell really poor. -

Could the performance of the new guys convince John it’s worth sticking around? Am I being far too hopeful? -
Looks like Sigurdsson missed out
-
Hopefully Hedges will be replaced by Kargbo shortly. Not sure why Beck has to pull shirts the whole time. Pointless free kick then
-
Cantwell for Wiemann and Kargbo for Hedges would be my subs. Not sure who we would put on for Buckley.
-
Maybe not register Pickering if we have Beck and the new guy.
-
I think we have some of the best fullbacks, central defenders and midfield pairing in the league. We absolutely need(ed) better reinforcements than Foreshaw (with Tronstad injured!) and a quality striker to take the pressure off Gueye and Ohashi who are learning the league. This guy is not it, so I really hope the rumours are not true. Kargbo better be good, or we haven’t improved where we needed there either. Cantwell will continue to struggle too if we don’t have quality around him (he may anyway but at least it would give him a better chance)
-
Because Beck has been excellent. We need a back up as Pickering is injured. I know there are other areas we need to focus on too, but this was needed.
