I know we are running out of time but I wouldn’t be too disappointed with the window as long as it finished with another CM cover (even if it was a loan who was better than Forshaw), the left back and a decent (subjective I know) striker. This is caveated with - I wouldn’t be too disappointed in terms of a typical Venky’s window. We need to spend ‘some’ cash on a striker.

Buckley may step up but Eustace has commented on Gueye’s fitness and Forshaw is not starter for me.

And we had Travis, Tronstad and Ohashi available and playing well.

We cannot start with ACD and Gueye again. As much as I don’t rate Hedges and Dolan, we do seem to play better when they start. id be tempted to try: Pears Hyam Sanderson Batth Brittain Beck JRC Buckley Dolan Hedges Leonard Id bring Gueye and ACD on depending on how the game is going. Eustace said that they need to work on Gueye’s fitness and whilst that’s the case, I wouldn’t be starting him. Think Cantwell needs a kick up the backside. Hopefully keep it tight and then Gueye and ACD could make an impact similar to Pompey. Not ideal to be thinking this way at home but without Ohashi, Tronstad and Travis, and without reinforcements to replace Hedges and Dolan, I don’t think we have much choice.

Every time ACD starts he has a poor game. Surprised he started today, especially away from home.

The pass by Cantwell, the cross by Brittain and the header by Mak were all sublime. Particularly that cross. Big Mak pointed where he wanted it and Brittain delivered. The dummy and goal for the second were also amazing. Foreshaw was praising ACD as he celebrated. Great to see. Saw a comment about Mak’s shot for the third so thought it was going to be worse than it was. It was better than some of his really scuffed, weak efforts. Not a strong effort but an improvement 😉Weimann got himself into a great position and worked hard to get the third. Really happy!

Call me old, but I don’t agree with male commentators. Just turned Sky Sports News on and panicked when I say 0-2…but it’s the women’s team. Although now 1-2. Great that it’s being reported on more.

This is actually the only thing that has given me hope that we will get players in. The quality of those players is another matter.

The Sanderson signing coming from nowhere gives me hope that we are looking at players and it’s not being leaked. I know AF was, but maybe others aren’t. I don’t mind the Sanderson signing at all, could be quite shrewd if he has just lost his way a little. He would be back up, unless he comes really good. AF is very underwhelming - fine as back up for Tronstad but who is playing whilst Travis is out? What if he doesn’t return to form after his injury?

Let’s hope it’s the last day of the window then… Also, we are usually losing them at the same time. Would be nice if we could add!

If we are in the same division next year, JE needs to plaster pictures of that classless, over the top celebration and all the other pictures; rubber chickens and horses heads, all over the dressing room and tell them to get revenge at all costs. Tell them that we can’t have that embarrassment and hurt again!

Are there any other teams that when they win a derby they act like Burnley? Absolutely hate it. Classless.
