  1. Going by Eustace comments a few days back he said he wa a looking forward to having him back so I’d have thought he would be aware that he was still in his plans. Also dispelling the rumours floating about regarding a fall out and him refusing to play u23
  2. Are quality signings only completed on deadline day?
  3. My argument against that is Oxford Norwich and Plymouth have all signed wingers for significant fees also
  4. Will you be saying that if we say lose draw lose draw the next 4 games effectively ending our playoff push?
  5. Venkys…..not a mission we’re paying 2.5mill
  6. There’s a difference between hardcore and avoidance. Picking and choosing when you are fully behind the team etc imo isn’t a true fan can you be a disgruntled fan absolutely many of us currently are But maybe putting rovers to one side or shelving them for a season whilst you don’t like the manager to me that’s not a true fan more a fair weather fan
  7. I do and I remember many worse times before under lesser men and managers does that mean I avoided rovers? Real fans dont just pick and choose when they are interested in supporting the team vent their frustrations absolutely be annoyed absolutely but avoid and take little interest that’s not a fan
  8. Not that I thought it was ever true but see Nathan broadband starting for Ipswich tonight again
  9. I didn’t disrespect them I provided a counter argument is that not what debates and forums are for?
  10. Yes and as alluded to hagi wright is/was simply better?
  11. As stated there can be other reasons as to why a manager would sell a player it’s not always based on ability or lack of
  12. Alvarez asked for more minutes pep said they couldn’t be guaranteed then Alvarez asked if he could leave missing the point - just because a manager is willing to let go of a player doesn’t mean they are poor
  13. if a team has their striker (who’s better) ie hagi wright BTA has expressed his desire to play through the middle (according to som cov fans) Lampard could cash in for couple mill and reinvest city sold Alvarez to Madrid simply because pep had haaland / Alvarez wanted more gametime. does that mean pep thinks Alvarez is poor?
  14. Jason Lowe went for free and was likely picked up for his experience rather than ability it’s completely different when you are paying couple of million for a player but yes managers can get it wrong and have done in the past it’s a case of we won’t know until it happens
  15. Of course it doesn’t an opinion is an opinion at the end of the day but it does strengthen the argument for those who have the opinion that he would be a good signing. A much thought of and sought after efl manager looking the player would suggest he has something about him
  16. I’d have reservations on that tbh for me whatever budget we have must be spent on players who can help the team now poku is out until mid feb he will then take a few weeks to get up to speed and then you hope he can make the championship jump if we were flush then it’s a no brainer but for me we need players ready now or it’s another wasted window and the chance for top 6
  17. Are we willing to spend our extremely limited budget on a player who won’t be ready to play for us until March?
  18. Agreed even though we won 3-0 last night it was very evident we need a winger and another striker Iv stated numerous times about this block being vital and about it being ‘kind on paper’ I’d just like them to give us the best chance
