  1. How much would an advert outside one of the test match venues be? Make news both countries? Could we just chuck all the dirt at the club in the direction of the new regulator? Be a test case.... Suhail is in directors most home games. Bulk buying tickets or obstruct his entry to Ewood? A human mass outside directors/players entrance at Jack Walker. None of this works without education on match days. Happy to fund, distribute leaflets or twitter / Facebook targeted ads ?? Whistles and eggs at games........
  2. Weird one with JDT, I dont know what to make of his time , started last year the epitome of pragmatism, lots of 1-0s, (due to Kaminksi) which makes me think he can do it. We're top 3 at Xmas and I want him gone after Burnley debacle. He then demonstrates he can coach and implement a style of play, but we spinelessly tail off and do a 180 on seeing out games. We start this season failing to put teams to away, but yet have the leagues top scorer but can't close the back door. I genuinely think he's a very good coach, with what he has to work with, when it clicks its great, because these are not very good players. If you tell someone results are secondary , implementing a style that makes our players attractive to other teams is priority, how much does that sway this stubborness? Losing Kaminski and going to Pears / Wahlstadt is a huge part in our goals against, anyone's who's played football at any level knows the impact of a good or bad keeper. That's on the club. Ultimately he has still made odd decisions and . Taking Hyam off against Watford at home completely altered the game. He's been our best manager in 13 years and yet gets derided more than Mowbray did , despite his annual death spirals. Injuries haven't helped and I laugh at suggestions he doesn't have a Plan B. Of course he fucking doesn't, look at the bench he has to call on, he's on bare bones. That's on the club. I'll be sad to see him leave, ultimately its a case of what could have been for me. However, projects etc are pie in the sky, anyone with ideals or dreams is wasted here, we just need a pragmatist to keep us up *rinse and repeat* until these fuckers leave. This club is set up to fail. If someone asks me if JDT is a good manager , my stock reply for the last 18 months will remain the same. "I think so, but I just don't know". I'll thank him for showing up the mess the clubs in. I'll take that self preservation it may be over, toeing the line and keeping a cushy number going. *Cough* Mowbray *cough* More of a stream of rambling consciousness than I expected....
  3. There isn't much to remember, probably about an hour in a Rovers shirt, bursting at the seams. Nothing against the bloke. I just think his managerial past in tin pot leagues, probably on strength of his name as a player should be absolutely nowhere near the conversation for our club. Which under these means it's worth putting £20 on
  4. Managed in India ... 😬😬🫣🫣
  5. The EFL and the lawyers must be laughing their heads off at another futile appeal. "Can you believe it, they did it again and they appealed! They want us to believe saved to drafts is submitted 😂😂😂" "Yeah Venkys Tax Return is saved to drafts too I heard"
  6. A big reason why we need experienced pros and not a crèche for our Academy players to tippy tap their value up and other clubs children to play around. I don't think there is that much booing here until it gets really bad. This isn't aimed at you btw. But I think this is what Waggott wanted. Divide and Rule. "Fans blaming players , players blaming fans and fans blaming fans" just writing that, hell what have we become. Let's get it right , nows the time stay focused, not fall.for.if and keep the heat on the Indians lapdog
  7. In a normal club or in a normal week , yes. Massively here this is all about context though. It's not normal or I'd argue good for the players to be used as pawns and deflection.
  8. A new low. When you read about players being rolled out to the fans to have a go it's usually at some crackpot Serie B side with a megalomaniac owner and the world is laughing . That's us now. Letting the players take the flak, throwing JDT under the bus and doing everything to quell dissent towards Waggot and the owners. Cowardly , embarrassing and sums up what these cretins have done to our fabulous club. I'm so angry right now. So very angry.
  9. In current guise , perhaps. I will admit being more than disenchanted by a move towards tea and biscuits , a policy of appeasement you might say. However , as a sole body, surely its direction can be determined by the wills of its membership? If enough join and desire protest and a campaign or raising mass awareness. It should be a vehicle to which everyone can get behind. It's remit is to secure the long tern future of Rovers. If it can't highlight issues with the club to the wider fanbase, then is it any better than the fans forum? I'd like to think it can put the right mask on for what is needed. I am a paid up , albeit silent member , I suppose I'd better put the above to them!
  10. Perhaps you are right. I'm as guilty as charged for mocking.
  11. I genuinely think the best co ordination can come from the We Are The Rovers. The more members, the more power/influence it has. I could understand the previous efforts of building bridges wity Waggott , a line from Darkest Hour springs to mind. "you cannot reason with a Tiger when your head is in its mouth" I think it's time the screw is turned and he's left in no uncertain terms about that. FWIW I have confidence they will be doing just that at the urgent meeting that has been requested. From what I've seen from @Miller11 he won't be fobbed off.
  12. Flat Earthers. Entitled to their opinion, even if those who can look beyond the end of our noses and have a memory longer than a goldfish disagree. You have to ask the question, whether it's worth going round their house and creating loads of damage that needs repairing, whilst devaluing the house, perhaps sell the garden to pay for some.of.my damage and lease it back to them? I'll say I was badly advised. They genuinely seem all for it. If they complain, tell them it's their own fault, they aren't committed enough and besides I'll promise to keep the lights on, so they can be grateful it won't be totally pitch black, oh and they aren't allowed to have any money they make, that needs to be used to patch up the hole.I created in the roof (temporarily) sure it means they will.probably stay indebted to me forever but what do they expect?
  13. I always doubted 'bots' or paid shills in relation to Rovers and social media. Just thought there was a lot of naive people. However , seeing that, my eyes are firmly wide open now. I was naive.
  14. 🤯🤯 That's actually baffling... Everton and Burnley, poor Marty no wonder he's clearly having a breakdown.
  15. When I read things like this, I can't help but think a lot of it is just a contrarian cry for attention. People love to play the look at me on social media. His first line is all that needs to be said. Penny will drop one day, once the tide turns (and it will) everyone will be posting "superfan" posts about how they are saving the club and have been against venkys from the start. Its just social media bollocks. Give a monkey a typewriter and all that.
  16. Perhaps the twitterati could make him feel better. It was 8/9s out of 10 on there. Of course if you look beyond having a North Korean State TV approach to how you virw Rovers , most in here felt the same as the man who's spent his life in professional football successfully.
  17. 3-0 Rovers. A poor QPR coming up North in February, they are worse than us and have been just dodging drop for a few years
  18. Sentiments absolutely agreed with, let's support the manager and players (let's also give fair stick when it's deserved). We all want to get behind the team and will. The bit I've highlighted in bold is where we disagree. Not for me. Blackburn Rovers is far more than that. It's supposed to be the centre and pride of a town, a uniting of a community. When you have people whove been going 60-70 years feeling disconnected and ignored, what goes on the pitch to me is importanr but secondary and what we see also reflects the way the club is run.
  19. You can take the word block, replace it with anything prevent, request, politely invite. The only question anyone should be asking is WHY?? And no answer to that looks good on the club however its spun. Now why would there be hysteria ? Whatever reason, his bosses seemingly have undermined the manager again. That cannot be positive
  20. And why might that be................?
  21. Facts based information is the way forward. I think the more people learn and understand about the past decade the easier any traction to make things better for the club gets. I think about when the HMRC stuff was online , there were still some with the head in the sand, but appeared a bigger proportion wanted answers. For some reason a transfer going wrong seeks to get the biggest backlashes and interest online, as if the club only exists during transfer windows. I will be writing to Waggot and as many media outlets as possible. There is a story here to be told, at least its on the radar. As its in vogue , I recall when Wrexham were facing going out if existence, the fanbase faced the same challenges on raising awareness (although youd now think 15k were manning the barricades and storming the pitch from watching Disney). They set up a fanzine (pre social media). Perhaps a RoversAnon twitter or something? I find the parallels to Facebook and the you are all miserable and defeatist uncanny. However they did prevail and DID save their club (angry, miserable gits) We aren't yet at this extreme point but you'd think it's coming someday.
  22. Even more bizarre when he put it out there a few weeks ago that he didn't want to be 'sensationalist', quite the turnaround.
