I genuinely think the best co ordination can come from the We Are The Rovers. The more members, the more power/influence it has. I could understand the previous efforts of building bridges wity Waggott , a line from Darkest Hour springs to mind. "you cannot reason with a Tiger when your head is in its mouth" I think it's time the screw is turned and he's left in no uncertain terms about that. FWIW I have confidence they will be doing just that at the urgent meeting that has been requested. From what I've seen from @Miller11 he won't be fobbed off.

I always doubted 'bots' or paid shills in relation to Rovers and social media. Just thought there was a lot of naive people. However , seeing that, my eyes are firmly wide open now. I was naive.

When I read things like this, I can't help but think a lot of it is just a contrarian cry for attention. People love to play the look at me on social media. His first line is all that needs to be said. Sentiments absolutely agreed with, let's support the manager and players (let's also give fair stick when it's deserved). We all want to get behind the team and will. The bit I've highlighted in bold is where we disagree. Not for me. Blackburn Rovers is far more than that. It's supposed to be the centre and pride of a town, a uniting of a community. When you have people whove been going 60-70 years feeling disconnected and ignored, what goes on the pitch to me is importanr but secondary and what we see also reflects the way the club is run.

You can take the word block, replace it with anything prevent, request, politely invite. The only question anyone should be asking is WHY?? And no answer to that looks good on the club however its spun. Now why would there be hysteria ? Whatever reason, his bosses seemingly have undermined the manager again. That cannot be positive

Facts based information is the way forward. I think the more people learn and understand about the past decade the easier any traction to make things better for the club gets. I think about when the HMRC stuff was online , there were still some with the head in the sand, but appeared a bigger proportion wanted answers. For some reason a transfer going wrong seeks to get the biggest backlashes and interest online, as if the club only exists during transfer windows. I will be writing to Waggot and as many media outlets as possible. There is a story here to be told, at least its on the radar. As its in vogue , I recall when Wrexham were facing going out if existence, the fanbase faced the same challenges on raising awareness (although youd now think 15k were manning the barricades and storming the pitch from watching Disney). They set up a fanzine (pre social media). Perhaps a RoversAnon twitter or something? I find the parallels to Facebook and the you are all miserable and defeatist uncanny. However they did prevail and DID save their club (angry, miserable gits) We aren't yet at this extreme point but you'd think it's coming someday.

Even more bizarre when he put it out there a few weeks ago that he didn't want to be 'sensationalist', quite the turnaround.

It might be an absolute storm in a teacup, but what is the motive behind that? Its very poor PR after such a supposed wonderful window , the club in no way comes out of such a headline well and I don't expect Elliott Jackson to have the inside track, so it's all very weird he'd put such a headline that could back fire so easily on him and his access to the club 😕

We don't know the reason, but you'd presume he's either just fuming and they don't want the reasons out there or he's going because he feels the club doesn't match his ambition and its saving his reputation, which is rapidly diminishing through the current form . Neither reflects well on the club. I can't recall a time a club has stopped their own manager talking to the media!

I can only speak for myself. I don't feel their is a party line or a set tone. Although many posters have a similar view, it's not universal or mandated. I appreciate the science lesson, astronomy and the wonders of the universe fascinate me, almost as much unanswered questions as to why Venkys are still here. (figurative) The company viewed the venture as a financial black hole (= it would use a lot of the company's money with no real result "I view Rovers revenue against outgoings as resulting in a financial black hole, patched up with selling training ground or a player" I can't make it clearer , no conspiracy theory it's a fact. It's in black and white. We havent always been this mismanaged. I think we both agree on that. I haven't seen or referenced anything fabricated, no nefarious theories, just calling what I see that is factual, which is why I am trying but struggling to understand your perception there is less of an issue than there is being made out to be. I just have a different take on some things, no problem. In terms of a black hole. If you excuse the terminology, I think by and large that refers to the significant losses every year. The fact that it is a financial black hole, we need to continue to find money to fill it. Yes these are operating costs and need to be paid , so a reference to this would be, Venkys can't send over money ergo any money we can raise goes to pay/service our losses, creditor's etc. Which I think we can all agree falls on the owners. Regarding asset stripping that's a libellous term. However , I think objectively if you sell your training ground separating it from the club and then borrow against it with a third party , you have what appears to be a use of assets to ahem...service the black hole. If you have an alternative perspective, please enlighten me , because on basic terms that is my view of how we are run.

Firstly, thanks for asking the question and posting the response. I always thought Nick Harris was on "our" side from the outset when most the media were against us. Unfortunately the above quoted is what we've been reduced too. £200m+ and only 1 extra relegation to show for it, loss of a training ground and 10k less season ticket holders where now success is defined as avoiding going belly up so that they don't lose control. What's mad is you see all the millions/billions spent by owners in the Prem where teams are top 6/top 10 and have some world class players, cup finals and you hear media and other fans empathising on money wasted and not run well enough. Yet here £200+ down the drain and £20 million losses every year, despite having cuts everywhere we can is met with, "what else do you want" Whether they were or are well intentioned is immaterial , we lose money hand over fist, the football club has less assets. They are not fit to run the club, even their best efforts (allegedly) in appointing a DOF , giving Academy players a chance , employing JDT, they completely undermine through their current and historical actions.
