  1. Seeing as Eustace is technically here , but not here and won't be in charge, if we win does he get the win credited to him like the Stoke game? 😁
  2. I think it's fair to question the timing of it, but the door to leave is open when it's open. He has to take that chance, you may feel betrayed by Eustace , I don't that, I think the betrayal came first to him and to us, pure speculation though. For years we've stated what idiot would work for these and then when one says he doesn't want to and looks for a way out I don't think he should chastised, but perhaps I'm more apathetic towards this now. You could argue as it happened 12 months ago and he benefitted from it, he knew exactly what he was getting into... Ultimately , all fans need one thing, Venkys Out .
  3. Yet , they are managing to control the narrative again. I do hope Eustace comes out at his Derby press conference and slams Waggott and Co but I doubt it. Perhaps some journalists will rip into them, certainly a story here.
  4. Could be Ancelotti and it'd still be pissing into the wind 🙁
  5. Remember all those who shouted down when it was pointed out all how badly run we were? "GET REAL WE COULD END UP BEING ANOTHER DERBY!" Talk about not being short term and blinkered. Imagine how surprised they must be today....
  6. It'll be whoever is out of work and in the stable of the agents whoever Gestede is part of.
  7. I liked this though it felt wrong. I feel for you. I think you speak for a lot of people. We're an unrecognisable club from the one you grew up with.
  8. Yes mate! Spread the word, back in 2016 I scrawled Venkys Out on the great wall.of China. Made me feel better if nothing else.
  9. I presume because he's still under contract and he wants to behave professionally ?
  10. From the Derby Forum. Nothing we haven't already speculated My latest, my mate spoke to Eustace over the weekend so there's your source. Blackburn want £750k compensation so that's the biggest stumbling block. Eustace has six players on expiring contracts, not one of them has even a first draft on the table. Not his words but no surprise they're ducking out of 50:50 tackles as one bad injury and they are a free agent (obviously has some memories of George then) He's been battling to get the players longer contracts and the players really appreciate him. He is an honest and supportive boss. He has no say over transfers, in the last window they bought a load of players that were different to what he wanted. They now have 26 players (you are only allowed to register 25) so one has been told they have no place in the club this season. Despite all of this, there is a great degree of loyalty to his team and players - memories of how he was treated at Birmingham I guess - so he's not ready to throw everyone under the bus at the first opportunity. I really hope this works, he sounds like a top bloke to have managing
  11. I don't want this to feel like a pile on Chaddy. However I am genuinely interested if you dont mind answering. What was your motivation for joining WATR/ Rovers Trust?
  12. 7th February 2020 Blackburn Rovers' CEO Steve Waggott has said that the club are assessing all options as to how they should honour Rovers legend Tony Parkes. Speaking in Rovers' supporters consultation meeting, Waggott was questioned about the club's stance in regards to the petition from supporters that had wanted to see the Riverside stand renamed to the Tony Parkes stand. Could this just be asked as a follow up. With the date emphasised, this is the epitome of the regime. Can draw up plans to sell the training ground but can't think of 1 gesture to properly honour Tony Parkes in 5 Years !!!
  13. Relies on someone in our brains trust remembers to press 'start' 🫣
  14. Goals change games and we didn't get ours. I thought they were better on the ball, moved it quicker and once that first goal went in we were never going to get back into the game. We couldn't turn it into a battle with the midfield we had. Architects of our own downfall. Cantwell is very lost in his career, I feel a bit for him he doesn't seem to have the heart to match his talent. It's like he's trying to hard and also not enough at the same time. I don't think we were bad, we just what we are a Championship club against Premier League players. Some encouraging signs, Gueye look confident and competent compared to 6 weeks ago. Dennis shows a nice touch and a bit of a brain, though unfit. Kargbo has pace and is direct which is an improvement even if end product might not be there. Buckley was OK again. For the debate , I'm not happy we are out. You can only win your next game and we may well end up looking at one of our closest Lancashire rivals in a quarter final while we drift down to mid table without our current manager. The FA cup is the bedrock of this clubs history.
  15. Disgraceful but not surprising. Waggott has probably sent an e-mail round. He'll have it on Ebay now , that'll pay for another box of fancy biscuits.
  16. So it looks like the 2nd Manager to leave in just over 12 months after being completely left hung out to dry on empty promises and a deliberate policy of dumbing down the club. Where would we be without Venkys eh and their ensemble of parasitic leeches doing their bidding. Their is no masking this.
  17. Better than I expected and pleased with Dennis signing. He was highly coveted before he came to England. Feels like Eustace has had the say rather than Rudy, just my gut feel. I wonder if we'll go 2 up top now? Get the lads back fit and there is no reason we can't finish top 6.
  18. What a load of inflammatory nonsense. FYI we had over 26k on the night when we were relegated in 2012, despite everything. On the pitch you take the rough with the smooth, which our fanbase is no different to anyone elses in fact pretty resolute at its core. When you are deliberately held in contempt by those running the club for 14+ years, people can stick 2 fingers up whenever they like.
  19. Hopefully the footballing authorities make the change for them and they can start next season with a derby against Altrincham.
  20. Raggiest team going. The amount of luck they've ridden this season.
  21. Amen. Spontaneous emotions for good and bad in that sequence.
  22. Top scorer sealing the game, after luring them into a false sense of security all game. 😜 Gueye the game changer . We must not mess January up again. We have to back Eustace or he's off higher.
  23. Get in! Eustace making the right changes at right time has completely changed this. Brittain having a stormer !
