  1. Thank you Chaddy. Stall, stall, stall seems order of the day. The delay in communicating what made us a international laughing stock again, tells me all I need to know about the people at the club. I can't envisage Radio Lancs have been swamped since Jan 31st, but hiding away during an international break suit's those unaccountable cowards, let the flame die down and bring out bollocks about new pathways, revisiting in the summer and new direction all soundbites. Akin to hiding in a fridge.
  2. Pears is a reasonable number 2, in that he's young enough to be on the bench and still have 10-15 years of a career left as a GK nowhere near his best years. An ok shot stopper but not someone who a centre half would trust.. He should be nowhere near a number 1 slot. Alas, GK has never been a priority under this rabble. Like centre halves aren't. He will always have a mistake, because he shouldn't be at this level week in week out. Kean, Walton, Steele (still shit), Pears, Wahlstadt, Leutwiler, all number 2s at best , but that's at clubs who don't just go for cheapest will do
  3. Where the F is Broughton? Waggott not going to comment on the last debacle of 2 months? Absolute Geordie Jabba the Hut
  4. 7 points from the drop when he came in, 1 now and we've mainly played teams around us. I do feel we are more organised defensively, but that was a very low bar. Point a game not enough, can he set up a team to go for 3 points rather than 1 and hope? Tuesday will tell and by Saturday tea time may well define him. Here's hoping he gets a Newcastle reaction rather than a Birmingham away.
  5. Andy Holt is a dingle from the Bob Lord mould. Pretends he's a United fan, but well known he took over Accy after a visit as a dingle. Can't hide the webbed feet and forked tongue. Never done anything but dig Rovers in the ribs with his online profile. Balls to him. Hope others can see he's so far up his own arse he can lick.his tonsils. Disclaimer * I do think he's done a good job there, he just believes his own hype and well he's a blatant dingle.
  6. We've got 7 days to give us a chance. Can this be renamed the realism thread? Looking at our fixtures. I think we are done for. Looks likely almost every game will have something riding on it for both teams , mainly those at the top end.
  7. Could be a case of after the Lord mayor's show and tired legs. However, I've got faith in Eustace. 1-0 away win in really ugly fashion please.
  8. Overwhelming pride. Can't remember the last time I saw a Rovers team work that hard to a man and for 120 minutes too. Credit to Eustace he seems to have instilled confidence and desire. McFadzean gives me Todd vibes and I love it.
  9. We need to stay up, but.yes I agree, it's incredible how much we offer going forward,
  10. We have very little.quality , awful game, but we reduced them to nothing too. The grind to 50 continues
  11. This.This.This. A football club needs 11 good footballers who can get results and a manager who gets the best out of them, however it takes. Too many want to be mini Brighton, mini Peps. Styles, brands etc total rubbish. We now have lots of nice Under 23 style players. The project is just sell what we can... We never replaced Graham adequately. Sadly we've put all our eggs in this mantra, of that's how we play. A conversation that never existed 20 years ago.
  12. Thats because nobody has a clue what they are doing Matty and we lurch from one bad decision to another. Football is a simple game, but suits and data bods think otherwise....
  13. I was banned from there. It was very pro venkys and Kean back in 2011/2012, properly got rounded on, made this place look tame at the end and to think this is accused of having a party line
  14. We've "built" or more like reduced a squad to only being able to play 1 way, the way that "increases value" with ever diminishing returns as the players are mentally weak, physically weak and not as good as they or us may think they are. Eustace has clearly got his work cut out if he and the squad feel a change of style is what is needed to dig us out, his eyes will be wide open now. We don't have the players to battle our way out. Especially if JRC out now. I am not going to criticise Eustace , last night was plan B, keep tight and hope for bounce of the ball, the plan B we never saw (but need) under JDT because Plan B is worse then Plan A with this squad. He needed to try and keep a clean sheet and embed that mentality I get that. If Eustace can get to 50 points he will have done a very good job, with this sows ear of a squad. A Mowbray team could have put 5 past us. Thanks Raos.
  15. A trip to the loft this morning. Flickinh through the collecfion . Little dose of nostalgia to add to the thread
  16. Ecstatic with the win. After the turmoil of a week, the players deserve credit. Let's get to 50 points. Still a very long and bumpy road ahead. Going to enjoy tonight , its the feeling we stick about for. We have much bigger battles ahead to win. Venkys Out & Waggott Out
  17. How much would an advert outside one of the test match venues be? Make news both countries? Could we just chuck all the dirt at the club in the direction of the new regulator? Be a test case.... Suhail is in directors most home games. Bulk buying tickets or obstruct his entry to Ewood? A human mass outside directors/players entrance at Jack Walker. None of this works without education on match days. Happy to fund, distribute leaflets or twitter / Facebook targeted ads ?? Whistles and eggs at games........
  18. Weird one with JDT, I dont know what to make of his time , started last year the epitome of pragmatism, lots of 1-0s, (due to Kaminksi) which makes me think he can do it. We're top 3 at Xmas and I want him gone after Burnley debacle. He then demonstrates he can coach and implement a style of play, but we spinelessly tail off and do a 180 on seeing out games. We start this season failing to put teams to away, but yet have the leagues top scorer but can't close the back door. I genuinely think he's a very good coach, with what he has to work with, when it clicks its great, because these are not very good players. If you tell someone results are secondary , implementing a style that makes our players attractive to other teams is priority, how much does that sway this stubborness? Losing Kaminski and going to Pears / Wahlstadt is a huge part in our goals against, anyone's who's played football at any level knows the impact of a good or bad keeper. That's on the club. Ultimately he has still made odd decisions and . Taking Hyam off against Watford at home completely altered the game. He's been our best manager in 13 years and yet gets derided more than Mowbray did , despite his annual death spirals. Injuries haven't helped and I laugh at suggestions he doesn't have a Plan B. Of course he fucking doesn't, look at the bench he has to call on, he's on bare bones. That's on the club. I'll be sad to see him leave, ultimately its a case of what could have been for me. However, projects etc are pie in the sky, anyone with ideals or dreams is wasted here, we just need a pragmatist to keep us up *rinse and repeat* until these fuckers leave. This club is set up to fail. If someone asks me if JDT is a good manager , my stock reply for the last 18 months will remain the same. "I think so, but I just don't know". I'll thank him for showing up the mess the clubs in. I'll take that self preservation it may be over, toeing the line and keeping a cushy number going. *Cough* Mowbray *cough* More of a stream of rambling consciousness than I expected....
  19. There isn't much to remember, probably about an hour in a Rovers shirt, bursting at the seams. Nothing against the bloke. I just think his managerial past in tin pot leagues, probably on strength of his name as a player should be absolutely nowhere near the conversation for our club. Which under these means it's worth putting £20 on
  20. Managed in India ... 😬😬🫣🫣
  21. The EFL and the lawyers must be laughing their heads off at another futile appeal. "Can you believe it, they did it again and they appealed! They want us to believe saved to drafts is submitted 😂😂😂" "Yeah Venkys Tax Return is saved to drafts too I heard"
  22. A big reason why we need experienced pros and not a crèche for our Academy players to tippy tap their value up and other clubs children to play around. I don't think there is that much booing here until it gets really bad. This isn't aimed at you btw. But I think this is what Waggott wanted. Divide and Rule. "Fans blaming players , players blaming fans and fans blaming fans" just writing that, hell what have we become. Let's get it right , nows the time stay focused, not fall.for.if and keep the heat on the Indians lapdog
  23. In a normal club or in a normal week , yes. Massively here this is all about context though. It's not normal or I'd argue good for the players to be used as pawns and deflection.
