  1. Sorry Chaddy lad, english please fella? Edited my comment anyway, I saw a post on FB and the name was said on here in jest the other day.
  2. Are we taking credit for the Niels Frederiksen rumour then or what? 🤣🤣 It's made it onto Facebook 🤣
  3. Rob Edwards confused with Ryan Lowe.
  4. He's definitely an up and coming promising type, like @LeftWinger mentioned; he has been involved with Celtic and ROI setup in fairness.
  5. It's a strange one with Duff, if it was the beginning of the season I'd be behind it... It's not to say he doesn't have the qualities to take us forward, it is just there is a gamble linked with it, which is why I think many are unsure...
  6. Karanka: "Well I errr, used to manage Middlesbrough" Swaggot: "Oooh, you're hard"
  7. Aye, Rob Edwards prev of Luton
  8. Where have you pulled this name from? I echo BankEnd Rover though, strange looking fella 🤣
  9. Just saying what I've read across various platforms, we've apparently chosen and appointed, now awaiting official appointment... Let's wait and see eh? Could be bullshit ITK's again though. 🤣
  10. We're not wanting to win best looking manager of the month/year... 🤣
  11. I can't be delighted or excited over any of these suggestions to be honest ... Generally Happy Valarian Ismael / O'Neil would probably be appointments I would be happy with (even despite my bashing of O'Neil on here). Satisfied Lowey - "Give it Giggsy until the end of the season" he knows the lads and knows how the set up was, we could be at risk of f-ing things up with a drastic change. You can't deny we've played well under him in the last 2 matches. Ljinders - Worked closely with Klopp, could be an Arteta situation with how he was with Pep Guardiola? Carsley - Managed mostly as the 2nd man but has acted interim at the highest stage. Edwards - Might have taken Luton up but also took them back down and left them where they currently are. Underwhelmed Gerrard - No, I'm fine for Rovers being linked to the "does not slip now" memes. Duff - Isn't proven at a competitive level, Duff is one of my all time favourite ex players too but let's be realistic here, he could be something in the next few years but now, no. Wicky - I don't know much on this fella, all I know is West Brom failed to appoint him... Looks a bit like the bloke out of Maroon 5. Worried or Fuming Karanka - Clown Boa Morte / George Boateng - Who? We want proven appointments here.
  12. Also seen that Siggy has come out criticising the club since he has joined Malmo (according to a post on Yahoo Sports)... Negative media surrounding us left, right and centre ... No one is going to want to work with us 🤣 Arnor Sigurdsson's anger at 'dishonest' Blackburn Rovers in unseen interview - Yahoo Sport
  13. Took a few days break from the forums et al ... So does anyone have any relatively decent news on the scenario with the new head coach? I've seen that O'Neil is off, Carsley has fallen right back down the odds and now seeing Ismael being touted? Happy with our last two performances and the possibility of giving it Lowey until the end of the season but when that loss inevitably comes, fans will quickly turn on him detailing he has never been in that kind of position regardless of whether we see him as the Temu Mr Blackburn Rovers! Haha (no insult to Lowey intended, just Mr Blackburn Rovers will always be our Tony Parkes).
  14. Lee Carsley? Where on earth has that link come from? A weird one to say the least and should have a wealth of experience given his tenure in league football and international + his stint as the England Interim manager...
  15. I don't disagree with those comments to be fair Mike ... But yes, still underwhelming. My point is, it isn't an appointment to be massively excited about; if he comes and does a good job then I will be ecstatic (for us as fans & the players, not the ownership!!), but let's hope that this doesn't dispel from the problems and they don't spin this off as a masterclass and the negativity gets forgotten about. That being said, look at O'Neil's stats ... It is 100 games, 31 wins, 17 draws and 52 losses (I don't need to state the %'s it is of course obvious). Wolves aren't a bad side, I would say they are under performing, especially when they have players like Cunha yet they've been left in a relegation battle because of him... So if he couldn't do well with a relatively good side in the Prem among teams like Southampton, Ipswich, Leicester, Everton, Spurs (lol) and of course Man Utd (bigger lol) then what is he going to be able to do at Blackburn?
