I don't disagree with those comments to be fair Mike ... But yes, still underwhelming.
My point is, it isn't an appointment to be massively excited about; if he comes and does a good job then I will be ecstatic (for us as fans & the players, not the ownership!!), but let's hope that this doesn't dispel from the problems and they don't spin this off as a masterclass and the negativity gets forgotten about.
That being said, look at O'Neil's stats ... It is 100 games, 31 wins, 17 draws and 52 losses (I don't need to state the %'s it is of course obvious). Wolves aren't a bad side, I would say they are under performing, especially when they have players like Cunha yet they've been left in a relegation battle because of him... So if he couldn't do well with a relatively good side in the Prem among teams like Southampton, Ipswich, Leicester, Everton, Spurs (lol) and of course Man Utd (bigger lol) then what is he going to be able to do at Blackburn?
