  1. Aye I don’t blame him, but you probably wouldn’t be best advised to go to national media telling them the only way you’d ever consider being hired by them was if they paid you over the odds and making it all about the money though.
  2. He’s also on record as stating he’d only come to us again if we paid him a lot to do so. Fuck him, he can stay on his buttons in the MLS.
  3. How do you not see why people are annoyed? The squad AS IT STANDS will be bottom 3 this season, we’re now removing 27 league goals. 40million in player sales THIS YEAR btw.
  4. Szmodics out as a precaution. That precaution being that we may need him transferable should Venky’s lose their court case so we can keep the lights on.
  5. Can we also address something that’s going under the radar, Cooper is fucking shit. I live in Leeds and they are literally laughing at us for signing him.
  6. Literally signing anyone would be better than what we have done.
  7. Surely not for a club so committed to being a ‘sustainable premier league club following the Brentford player trading model’?!
  8. With the additional £5million of Raya money; that brings the transfer warchest to £30million right? Guys???
  9. They’re not adequate starters never mind their replacements.
  10. It stems from there, no doubt, but there’s absolute fucking clowns based at Ewood too that could and should be doing much better.
  11. Starting to hate my own club more than any of our rivals. A complete and utter fucking shitshow. ‘Player trading model’ i.e. we’ll sell everyone worth a quid. We are absolutely nailed on for relegation. Nailed on.
  12. How many times does someone deliberately think ‘I’m gonna handle the ball here?’ If it’s only ever deliberate then it wouldn’t be a rule at all. Let’s see what the general consensus is if a Burnley player accidentally stopped it going in with his hand in the last minute. I don’t think the current rule is too far off being the right one, it’s the way the English refs (as seen in the euros) are implementing it that stinks.
  13. Yeah I like the idea of early bird phases, however some clubs had them out in March, which is how it should be done.
  14. I did with a credit card, not financially sound advice for anyone £1500 in the red. But it’s not about being an ‘adult’, the world’s a different place for that age group now. Adults? Yes. As financially sound as other ‘adults’? No. They’re the generation of fans we should be packing into the ground which is why I think the young adult tickets are good ideas. The original post was not debating whether 23 is an adult, it’s stating that something as simple as buying tickets is now too much like hard work for some to even bother. If you eventually get on the website, you’re then forced to buy a category you’re not actually part of when the season starts. You then check the FAQ’s and it actually tells you the opposite of what the club said on the phone. It should be a seamless process but it’s not. Your other comment about what it was in was a bit childish to be fair, so thought you’d probably enjoy the young adult price 👍🏻
  15. At 23 I had -£1500 in my bank account after just leaving uni from finishing a masters.
  16. ‘Why overcharge just the adults when you can overcharge everyone?’
  17. Questioning why I renewed my season ticket now! 12 points that team gets
  18. Not really the point though is it. The club can’t even price a season ticket without making a bollocks of it.
  19. The cutoff would make more sense if it was before the season started. Once a ball is kicked how can you say ‘although you’re 23, you can’t have a 23 year old ticket’?
