  1. Lowe s luxurious locks make him favourite in that fight.
  2. Equally mysterious no "John looks forward to Baggies clash" on the YouTube channel either. As Hirohito said in August 1945: "The war situation has developed not necessarily to Japan's advantage."
  3. I've just read the Stalinist censored preview on the website. Most of it is ToMos nostalgic paean to the Rovers but strangely they omitted one line from his interview: ""It is an interesting scenario playing Blackburn, potentially without a head coach,"
  4. He was doing the warm up against Wolves and Preston I'm pretty sure. Met him once on an FA safeguarding/first aid course. Nice fella (tin hat on - I know nobody cares if he's nice or not etc.)
  5. I don't think I agree with you but I admire your passionate rhetoric. Very well put and very heartfelt. Bravo.
  6. Either you are Adam Firshaw or his agent. Or his mum.
  7. You've got to laugh in a gallows fashion. 300 pages of sound and fury signifying nothing.
  8. and he was handy as an emergency keeper don't forget.
  9. I regard myself as a diehard. a pessimistic one, but a diehard. Tonight I'm really questioning my mindless season ticket renewal. The whole thing is futile. Like many on here, if I stopped going, I'd still probably follow the club on here because the people on here are the beating heart of the club. But to what end? And after a few more years, I'll probably just look at the score in the Sunday paper. I hate it. When David Brown, Bill Fox and Billy Bancroft were in charge - yes it was thin gruel, but it was honest at least and they were local passionate men. And no doubt spared their own hard earned to get Kendall and Co. These current "owners" are like the invasion of the body snatchers. Inhabiting a hollowed out husk of what was once the Rovers. Sorry to be repetitive and elegiac, but that's how i feel today.
  10. I don't know when it happened, but can I say how pleased I am that any and all swearing is allowed on this message board. I'm not sure many of us could cope without that licence. Well done the moderators - I'm very much against censorship.
  11. Plymouth must be kicking themselves for letting Forshaw go.
  12. Indeed, are we to conclude Garretts wages are higher than Forshaw's?
  13. That game panned out exactly as about 90% of this board imagined it. As someone rightly said this morning on here, a game you couldn't look forward to at all. Ghastly. I obviously don't blame Mr Forshaw for signing but it's almost a calculated insult to the supporters to be relying on someone like him. It's embarrassing.I'd rather see Garrett. Certainly no worse and would have more energy.
  14. insult to injury seeing that go in after our puny attacking efforts of recent matches.
  15. When they had the corner flag it was like losing the colours at Isandlwana.
  16. Line up looks like a cry for help from JE.
  17. Feeling low after that. We're an average team in an average but competitive league and most depressingly, not for the first time, our 2 best players are one season loans. Even if our best players weren't on loan we'd sell them and not see reinvestment. Groundhog...
  18. and sky sports app on phone/tablet.not that I dare to watch it after last season s midweeks...
  19. that's appalling Jim. I'd toyed with the idea. Pathetic. And that's local league cricket. Unacceptable.
  20. I'd give Buckley a do instead of JRC. His passing can make a difference.
  21. Can someone teach Siggy how to defend please? 3 challenges 3 fouls. Maybe 4.
  22. Is there a MoTM thing on here this year?
