  1. The reverse of which will be true in 6 months when we're looking for a new manager.
  2. You can't say something definitive then state that none of us know. You do it all the time.
  3. You're more than likely right. The other option isn't beyond the realms of possibility though, which is the really sad thing.
  4. Make JDT play Pears so Kaminski has no second thoughts about leaving when the inevitable offers come in? I can see it.
  5. It's May 2031, Rovers have just been relegated to the National League North. New manager Jason Lowe holds his first press conference. "I'm delighted to come back to this famous club. I've spoken to Suhail and Steve and they have ambitious plans to get us back to where we belong. I have every confidence that despite the last 7 managers leaving mid contract that I'll be provided the funds to rebuild the squad" Chaddy: "We see in the summer."
  6. I'm really beginning to despite following this shower of a club.
  7. We all know why he was sold. We all know we'll get more when he's sold on. We got so little cos they couldn't wait to sell. It's very simple.
  8. Chaddy in backing club decision and deriding former manager shocker.
  9. I'm sorry but a coach not wanting to leave Eastbourne in order to join Blackburn is not nothing. Especially after our manager left us while we were in the playoffs to join relegation threatened Derby. Please don't insult people's intelligence like that.
  10. Thought you only ever predicted us to win? Why are you not backing the team?
  11. Probably not. And the difference between the quality levels isn't as stark with most other player.
  12. Yeah I thought the letter read well. If you really want to you can view any content coming from the club as propaganda.
  13. Either the way the club were keen to stress a long term contract. But with the way we approach contracts it's antibodies guess.
  14. A note on the contract. Either he's had assurances over player contracts and the future of the club (which will very likely be lies) or he's had us over a barrel, which I see as a) more likely and b) depressing. Not cos he's a bad appointment, he's probably muddle of the pack in terms of my excitement levels, but he's hardly hot property, is he? I hope he'll work out but as ever with Rovers, I've more questions than answers.
  15. I wouldn't take a job for less than market value because of a very slight chance of a promotion.
  16. Reflecting on yesterday, it's a mix of disappointment and resignation. A lot of people saw this coming before the line up was announced Then we saw Hedges, Weimann and Foreshaw. I was honestly staggered how anyone can see Swansea's fragility, coupled with the hunger and pace of Kargbo and determine that Hedges was the way to go. Ceded them the upper hand from the start (despite a good opening 10 mins, which is the least I'd expect.) Having a manager in place, instead of a coach who is clearly reverting to mean and trying to maintain the status quo, would have given us an edge we clearly needed. Instead it's another 3 points lost to beurocracy, lack of preparation and the overall malaise that these pricks have woven through our club. A waste of time for everyone involved. Why the rush, indeed.
  17. Yeah the ownership issues at the club clearly have nothing to do with our manager leaving, the search for a new manager and the likely obstacles to getting someone half decent in. Entirely separate and not worth mentioning.
  18. That's not up for debate, they've done really well.
  19. I'd be hesitant to describe hiring a manager for a football club as over engineering.
  20. Tronstad isn't back yet is he? Same again for me, but Kargbo in for Hedges. Agreed that we need to take this one to them and get some dynamism around Guaye.
