  1. Yeah, we need Hyam back to his best. His confidence was shot in the last few months of the season.
  2. My worry is Hyam and Pears. They were directly responsible for both the Bristol City and Sheff Wed debacles. Those two were a liability.
  3. Jackson saying Fadz talks at advanced stage and should be announced next week, same timeframe for Yuki.
  4. You could have said the same for King Kenny when he signed Tony Gale. These players bring experience and know-how. Fadz showed his worth last season. I doubt he’ll be playing every game.
  5. Yes, how they are operating is bizarre and Fadz is the perfect example. JE said he’d like to keep him at the end of last season and yet it’s taken until now for them to start negotiations with someone who won’t be on much. But we’ve seen it all before. The club is run by amateurs.
  6. Agreed, if the lad from Crewe isn’t ready yet.
  7. He definitely is. There was a scenario last season where both of them were running back after a corner with the opposition on the counter. Fadz left him for dead. I don’t think you realise quite how slow Hyam is.
  8. As above, he’s quicker than Hyam. And Eustace likes to defend deep at times so it won’t be a concern in those games. Fadz organisation skills are excellent. He brought so much to that team last season.
  9. Not really because we’re talking about a different player in a different team in a different position. Fadz was very good last season in organising a bunch of headless chickens into a coherent defensive unit. He was also quicker than Hyam last season
  10. How fit was he when he joined us last season? And if the manager wants him back then it’s clearly not a terrible idea to him, which us what ultimately counts.
  11. Super Derby Super Rams lost 4-0 to Chesterfield in a friendly the other day and their manager called the performance ‘unacceptable’. Im not that worried.
  12. According to Molla on twitter Yuki signed for Hiroshima rather than another club because Hiroshima were willing to include the clause that allowed him to move abroad for free.
  13. Keeping our powder dry for some power moves later in the window.
  14. They’ll be paying us by tomorrow morning
  15. Previous link to Humphry’s, thought I’d seen his name already this summer in connection with Rovers
  16. Jackson saying he’s hearing more positive noises re recruitment and that things seem to be warming up.
  17. Lots of positive comments from both Wigan and Hearts fans in reply to his twitter post announcing he was leaving.
  18. They have financial problems and maybe didn’t offer what he can get elsewhere?
  19. Same with Luton year before with the likes of the much derided Bell. They also had a striker up front in Morris who had been a lower league journeyman all his career with a poor goal return and then suddenly he’s banging them in in the Prem.
  20. People wrote of SS and Dack before they pulled on the shirt, based on being League 1 players. It’s silly writing anyone off.
  21. Yep, played mainly on the right and up front according to TMarkt. He actually offers a physical presence which we lack. He could be an astute signing.
