  1. That was more like it even though it was offside. Excellent move of first time passing
  2. Overrated players who don’t look half as good as they do at club level when they have the benefit of playing alongside quality foreign players.
  3. All is tickety-boo on the financial side according to the club
  4. It may well be that it’s a deliberate policy to let local businesses sponsor the shirt below market value, rather than an inability to attract a major sponsor.
  5. It’s been a brilliant Euros so far. Some really dramatic games.
  6. Me too. I had a look at how Eustace set up when Brum came to Ewood season before last. They played 3-4-3 then as well, or 5-2-3 (however it’s described) As discussed the other day on here, I think he’ll be looking to bring in a pacey RW and a LW this summer.
  7. Eustace is a fan of Travis according to the LT today. I can see him and Tronstad in a 2 man CM.
  8. Chaddy being held to account for Rovers lack of signings is next level frustration!
  9. Doesn’t look like it. 2 other agencies have 3 Rovers players on their books (according to the link above)
  10. Ok thanks, thought it was a bit odd. If it is true I’m just hoping it’s 3 shite players that are being jettisoned.
  11. Has an agent with 3 Rovers players on his books got Venkys Out as his profile picture?!
  12. Exactly what he said when I sent him the pictures.
  13. Send them a quick email telling them about the issues with the club IT and that you want them to honour the early bird offer. Tell them to email you confirmation that they will honour it, and then sort it when you have a bit more time.
  14. What’s your number out of interest?
  15. Yes, that was it ‘smashed’….whatever that means! maybe we’ve sold 8k already.
  16. I remember when we were in League One, us and Wigan had a wage spend of about 4x higher than the next highest, who I think was Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury came 3rd as I recall. John Williams used to say you could, with only a few exceptions, predict a Prem league table before the season started based on how much each team spent on wages. I think that’s increasing true of every league in the EFL too.
  17. You’re preaching to the converted, I’d be amazed if there wasn’t a decent budget based on who we’ve sold and the money coming into the club this summer (providing of course the funding issue has been resolved as per the club statement). The players you have suggested us as being linked with seem to suggest there is quite a substantial budget?
  18. Yeah, it just said ‘budget’ on the forum so it could mean anything, but the apparent headline from Nixon on his website was that Brum would ‘blow their rivals away’ with £20m budget. I just assumed that meant transfer budget but it could just mean wages.
  19. I thought it was that we’d already sold more early birds than last season in total? Someone linked the club twitter post in this thread. I may have misremembered.
  20. We’ve sold more early birds than last season according to the club so last seasons poor performance may not be a big factor. I think the price reduction and the cheap kids tickets have gone down well.
