I know. And the ‘Ashley’ chap seems big on detail. The Ashley chap is Inside Rover. The one I quoted is Rovers Insider, who was the guy who popped up on twitter/X after JDT left. He’s the vague one. So you got the wrong one when you quoted me. I wasn’t on about your pal Ashley. Also @Herbie6590 has got Rovers Insider’s name wrong on the thread title, which makes it even more confusing, cos now there’s a chance there’s a 3rd insider😉

So I was quoting the OG insider, not the new ‘insider’ called Ashley that you got a DM off. My point was the OG insider has posted a very vague X post that could have easily have been cobbled together from Glen’s posts on here. I even posted the bit about Waggott being the least of our problems in this very thread BEFORE the OG posted it on X.

It’s a strange clause if it’s ‘within’ 3 months, that’s basically a zero hours contract!. ‘After’ 3 months makes more sense as that gives him to the end of the season (he was appointed on 25th Feb) Regardless, It’s been a disastrous appointment. All he had to do was win a few games and we were in the play offs. Useless.

Cos they’d have to pay him 3 years salary. They’ll pot him for nowt after 3 months (if the clause break is true)

We all know that not everyone will want to stay away, for the reasons he states, but he misses the wider point. The reasons for staying away must be strategic and with an end goal. If people want change they need to make sacrifices. If that means having a year of not turning up to starve the clowns out then they might be willing to stay away. Basically, if you keep turning up they will never sell the club. If you sacrifice buying a season ticket for a single year they might fuck off. It needs to be framed in those terms.

Turning up makes us look weak. We’ve bent over and took it for 15 years. If nobody turns up there isn’t a club. It’s the only thing that will force them to sell. Turning up won’t do anything, they’ll just be here for another 15 years.
