People are comparing last seasons squad including loans against our current squad before the loan market kicks off? Sort of skewing the data to match your anger there. I'm not overjoyed with the current way the club is being run, but if you're really going to argue that we are no better off at this stage of the transfer window than last year, you're just being obstinate.

It's medicals for three players, not three for the same one. Just worded poorly in the article I imagine!

I won't argue that he's in decline compared to his 21/22 season, but he still contributed to 13 goals last year. On the flip side, he can play on the left (which we need), and I'd say he still is technically gifted enough, and experienced enough to influence the game both on and off the ball. It doesn't excite me, but I wouldn't be mad about it. Also it's better than spending the same sort of wage and loan fee on someone from a PL2 side who disappears after November.
