I concur. Of course I would love to be like a Prem club and buy Willy nilly, getting players for millions of dollars. Hell, even the smaller amount in comparison that someone say like Coventry, has done. However, that obviously is not realistic by any stretch of the imagination. With this being said, I like building up the youth players that we have by sending them out on prudent loans as well as getting their feet in the rough and tumble of the Championship perhaps quicker than other clubs would. If we ever want to get back to the Prem or just be more successful in general than we have been, than that is the way forward.

American fan here and special education teacher(Autistic kids are fantastic to work with and to see them grow!). How am I a Rovers fan? Very simple: My girlfriend, well ex-girlfriend now 😞 was from Blackburn and she rubbed off on me haha as far as following the club. We were together for over 8 years and although recently broken up, my love for the Rovers continues on. I also coach track and field so if I seem upset on here we probably just a lost a meet haha. Also, as far as other clubs I follow: 1. FCH Heidenheim(Actually run their English Twitter and am a fan due to family ancestry) and Celtic FC because my brother and I saw them play in Washington DC several years ago. My brother is more of a hardcore fan of them than I am mind but I still keep up with them as well.
