  1. I have never understood that mindset tbh. We should want Rovers to be competitive in every single thing they are a part of. Now, will I lose sleep if we lose to Boro? No. However, I still would love for us to advance and worry about the league afterwards.
  2. When it comes to this ownership, I literally do not have any good expectations. We are overachieving this season let's be honest. However, that does not mean we should not take advantage of it while we can. Clearly need a couple more pieces to strengthen or we will falter and finish in mid-table or worse. No relegation fears mind which I guess is somewhat positive haha. But we are in a good spot to really make a run at the playoffs and when you get there, anything can happen. Huddersfield *cough* getting promoted via penalties. We shall see I suppose.
  3. Haha no doubt there was. I thought he was amazing for Rovers and how he played the game is something a lot of modern day keepers are lacking imo. I was very fortunate to meet him before a USA game several years ago; extremely nice guy!
  4. Why I am a fan, the GOAT of Rovers keepers. Imo anyway haha😃
  5. Yes I'm a dumbass and realized that now after I posted it smh. I blame this moonshine.🙂 Regardless, not going to be easy I don't think!
  6. The Premier League is a cesspool for the most part. Would I love for Rovers to continue this good bit of form and somehow get promoted come seasons'e end? Of course. However, so much money would be needed to stay up, get demolished more often than not, and just I don't think have as much fun as perhaps most fans think they would. Again though want us to get there yes, but in the grand scheme of things, the Championship is just more exciting if I am being honest.🤷‍♂️
  7. Myself and a few other members of the Tar Heel Rovers are having a watch party for this one! Obviously we are on a terrific run of form but overall have never had the best time at the Den. Last four matches away to Millwall: 3 losses and a draw. Will be a tough one and even though obviously be great if we can keep the winning streak going, I would be content with a draw tbh. Edit: Yes I know I got our record there wrong haha. Cheers!
  8. Sounds like my anniversary with the missus.😪
  9. Yeah haha fair point. Other clubs might think on what he could do with a bigger budget... Personally though I think he is not going anywhere.
  10. This is going to be a stressful upcoming window in a variety of ways. Either the owners see how we are doing and want to legitamely push for promotion with some quality additions. Or they will figure job done, not going to get relegated, and do fuck all. I really see no in-between. We do another need goal scoring threat and a complementary squad player at the back imo. We shall see.
  11. Eustace is a phenomenal manager for this group of players. He clearly knows how to get the best out of them and that has been reflected with our current run of form. Are we in the top 5 in this league as far as talent? Not by a long shot, jmo. However, we are gritty, cohesive, and have a guy at the helm who know how to get results. That is all that matters.
