  1. Agree, can’t start with today’s formation again, we don’t have wing backs, Ribeiro and Brittain were pinned by the opposition and they can’t play through the channels by themselves. 3 CBs lack understanding at times, risky at this point to the mess with things at the back. Need to sort out the midfield instead. JE always steadied the back first.
  2. cant agree more, team formation was too spread out (under JE we were tighter), too many mistakes, players were not used to hitting long passes, ended up playing long balls towards the end, no shape, disjointed....missing man-management to draw a reaction from the players. Another post Jan slide..
  3. JE knew where to hit us, packed the midfield, disrupting the middle of the park and getting lot of bodies in the box. Credit to VI for the change of shape and tactics. Was an uphill battle going 2 nil down so early in the game.
  4. Unfortunate to have Dennis out for this game. This game is made for him.....damn
  5. With Tornstad out, Travis was playing deeper as the ball-winning mid, and Forshaw taking the role to link up with the attackers. Forshaw can't keep up with the pace for the entire game hence midfield was run ragged, as in today and at Swansea last week. Good to have Tornstad back, he needs to be starting. His introduction allowed Travis to unlock the mid and we were better in transitioning. Also, we need to capitalize on our corners and free kicks, was frustrating today.
  6. Maybe it is true that his loan is tied to appearances...
  7. Cue Karanka’s celebration in the Savoy, taking the piss of the board!!
  8. 100%, we need Danny Batth back, between him and Hyam they've been clearing the 18-yard box. Pear's positioning and handling is suspect.
  9. Hedges should have been more physical there, Viptonik leaning into him flat
  10. Pears should have played to the whistle, caught in 2 minds Goal 2 & 3, Sanderson, need to put those tackles in… Goal 1…dare I say it….
  11. Started the game well but as many had said, got the team selection wrong, game lost at half time.
  12. 2nd half was awful, no link play, no shots. Subs making cameos…
  13. Boateng seems to be keen..... https://www.myjoyonline.com/im-interested-george-boateng-on-links-to-blackburn-rovers/#google_vignette “I have seen that my name has been mentioned for various clubs in the championship and, all I can say is that, I have shown interest in the Blackburn Rovers job and that I’m interested in being the head coach," he said.
  14. Same feeling here, with no permanent manager in sight, we will lose half the squad by season end.
  15. 🙁Probably wanting to sit it out and see how things unfold at Boro after this Friday’s match
  16. Board does not have a clue if they are sifting through all those 100 applicants, agree could be piss takers, CM aspirants…
  17. Boateng’s past managerial experience as posted in wiki 👇…in Malaysia 🫣
  18. apparently his family was behind the dugout, says below from the Plymouth Herald Muslic said: "I have nothing but respect for Forshaw because he explained to me exactly behind us was the family with his sons. I respect that. If I would score that beautiful goal I would also go to my family and to my sons celebrating.
  19. No way on Rohl, his contract with SW includes a £5 million release clause
  20. I feel JE’s heart was never with the club and only viewed us as a means to an end. He would have known what he was getting into when he signed on. No doubt, he and his team handled the job professionally, and the lads amazed everyone this season. Our league position created an excellent pivot for him and Derby offered the perfect chance to turn the tables on the club and leave. That’s all in the past now, let’s get behind the lads, and DL… COYB!
  21. BBC Africa did a story on him back in 2020 https://www.bbc.com/sport/africa/54476103
