  1. After 34years as a season ticket holder and 30 matches a season you take going for granted. BUT we still assume too much: - the ease of getting tickets(always a fag) - do the casuals know the fixtures? - bundling big matches with B fixtures - selling the home-town boys - not playing the home town boys - making it more comfortable for Blackburn Asians to attend matches(saw 2 Rovers fans abusing 6 Asian lads on Saturday just outside the ground) -giving big teams the edge at vital matches by them having 8000 supporters there. -now giving the shop to a franchise and not selling a lot of BRFC items Get a big illuminated sign high up near Ewood with the next fixtures and open an outlet in the town centre,Clitheroe and Chorley.See Ipswich and Norwich methods of sales and publicity. We will get there eventually..keep the faith.
  2. Suggesting a merger has always been the quickest way to get dissed on this Board. BUT there are plans [called the Northern Way] to build up Preston/Blackburn as the Lancashire city that matches Leeds/Bradford and Newcastle/Gateshead and acts as a counterbalance to the growth of Liverpool and greater Manchester.I'd always thought of Rovers and the dingles as one east Lancs club but a merger of PNE and our beloveds would only continue the trend of west lancs support and[wait for it] isolate Bumley back in the 19th century. yours stategically!!
  3. Flushed out at last.If Mike Newell could get his mate to come as Player/Coach then the change at Ewood would be dramatic and it would persuade Souey's signings to stay focussed. But amongst all this remember that Graeme got us back to the Prem quickly and we only need the FA Cup for a full set.
