  1. Fucking hell. If Mowbray was still in charge people would be going insane. Really hope JDT finds his feet because its miles away from good enough atm...even with a small squad.
  2. Said it during the transfer window, for all the talk of centre backs and forwards..the thing that's killing us each game is having zero physicality in CM. Even if they weren't the most technical player someone with a bit of pace, height, aggression and stamina Is so badly needed. Especially only playing 2 in there. For all their ability, Morton and Wharton will get bullied as a pair in most games. Maybe see if Mola could do a job.
  3. Id chuck the new lad in upfront straight away. Were missing a natural striker in there and someone with a bit of nous in the box. Kaminski Trav Hyam Carter Pickering Morton Wharton Hedges Dack BBD Hirst Whats the prognosis for brittain? Ive not heard any info on why hes out or for how long?
  4. nearly spit my coffee out when I read this on the sky sports ticker. Luckly its a different Adama Traore! Hull sign Traore on two-year deal Hull City have completed the free signing of Mali international Adama Traore on a two-year deal after he left Hatayspor. The 27-year-old, whose deal includes a one-year club option, arrives on Humberside after making 54 appearances during a two-year spell with the Turkish Süper Lig outfit, assisting nine goals.
  5. Looking at Molas Wiki page, looks like hes only played 11 competetive matches! not a lot for a 21 year old. Doesnt seem to be any record of him playing anywhere before 2020.
  6. Well on top, loads of chances...not taking them. We all know where this is going.
  7. Surprised Dolan seems well ahead of Markanday given he's got a couple of goals in the cup games. Not sure what to think of Dolan. Gives 100% and is useful as a pest to defenders but seems technically limited. He looks fast without actually being fast. Thank god we got the hyam deal done in time.
  8. Don't know much about this lad. Sounds like he did OK in L1 last year so hopefully he'll prove useful. Can't be much less of a goal threat than the current forwards bar BBD. He's young so hopefully we'll see a good improvement like we did with BBD and Armstrong
  9. After the last 3 games I actually think a high energy, powerful CM should be our priority for the last position rather than the Liverpool CB on loan. We're weak as piss in there. Hopefully we'll have a secure league position at the next window when JDT has seen the squad a bit longer.
  10. Never heard of Hyam until recently so no idea if he's any good. But good to get a match fit seasoned pro CB in rather than kids. We've been desperate for one for weeks. See what this week brings.
  11. Wow that starting line up definitely won't strike fear into the opposition. Didn't even know brittain was a doubt.
  12. Think Dack deserves a start and apart from BBD is the player most likely to nick a goal. Need to compete more in midfield. I'd be tempted to put Carter straight in but I don't think he will. Kam Britain Phillips ayala Edun Morton Travis Buckley Hedges Dack BBD
  13. I'm sure this has been discussed over and over but how the fuck have Sunderland (L1 side last year) beat us to signing Van Hecke. If this is true we really are shopping in the bargain basement. I can honestly see discontent from JDT before long. Not good.
  14. Silence is deafening on the transfer front. No links and no activity. I know were pretty good at keeping things quiet but given how small the squad is and after getting found out midweek its worrying there haven't even been any rumors arise since. I suspect all is not well behind the scenes. Hopefully JDT doesnt see his arse soon.
  15. Massive reality check of just how small the squad is. The first three games have been great but this squad will not compete over 46 games. Big week coming up. We have to make 2 or 3 signings.
  16. Probably because it's a vape company and he's under 18.
  17. Sounds like the only positive is its only 1-0 at half time. Apart from the goal, sounds like Smodicz has barely been involved in any of the games. A game for Dack to nick one I think.
  18. Hoping todays speculation about BBD doesnt mean he will be withdrawn as "not in the right mindset". Usually happens when a bid comes in and a player is interested in the move. We need all the points we can get while hes still here.
  19. Can see a similar tactic to the Swansea game. Can't see us having much of the ball. Need BBD and Co to be clinical when they get a chance. Big game for Ayala. Hopefully the heat slows the game down which might help us keep our shape. I'd take a draw. 1-1.
  20. Bloody hell. I know its only hartlepool but considering this is a second string side its a good effort. 8 goals and 0 conceeded for JDT so far.
  21. Hard one with Dack as he seems to be hardly in the game and doesn't suit JDT style but still has an eye for goal.
  22. Haha I was trying to screenshot the same thing. I don't know...I wouldn't have put it past Melton Mowbray. Fuck I'm glad he's gone
  23. Not rovers related but West ham have agreed to sell their striker Vlasic to Torino for £15m. Never heard of this guy and don't remember ever seeing him play last year but they only signed him last summer for £30 million. Goes to show the crazy money prem clubs are willing to pay and the losses they can make. Everton interested in the Coventry forward Gyorkes. If anyone comes in for BBD it will be them imo.
  24. Interesting to see how Markanday gets on. Not really had chance to see him so far. If he turns out to be decent our forward options other than a proper CF dont look too bad.
  25. Didnt he have a couple of bad injuries last year and the year before which meant he missed a lot of U23 games /loan move? Its sad to see, but some players despite an abundance of talent seem to be blighted by injuries throughout their careers.
