  1. haha i was onli messin. I know wot you mean, at university with alot of the week doing nothing.
  2. Hey dado prso, just noticed you make 16.9 posts per day. You have too much spare time. hehe. Hughes is meeting the player monday isnt he, mabye some sense can be talked into Fergy. I hope so.
  3. Also says Jemal Johnson is 6ft. I seen his afew times for the reserves at morecambe and he looks tiny.
  4. I genuinely feel upset for Matt. He is unlikely to ever recapture his form, and the career of one of Englands best prospects has been ruined. Think what we could have achieved with a fully fit Jansen. However it may just be me clutching at straws but he has shown his ability in flashes. The goal against liverpool, Birmingham and another i cant remember. he has hardly had a decent run upfront to find any form. So mabye just mabye, an extended run in his favoured position may help regain his sharpness and his goals. I would give him an extention, play him in as many possible games as we can and see what happens. he cant score any less that steady and bothroyd. I believe he would still bag us around 10-15 goals if he played every game from the start of a season.
  5. Well excited about seeing savage play. Just wish it could have been with ferguson. Also quite pleased to see Dikov suspended, hes been great above all expectation but would like to see what i feel will be rovers pairing of the future in Stead and Gallagher get a start. If stead gets a goal or two i feel his season will begin to fly. With the rest of the team we have now, an inform striker would make us a dangerous side. 1-0 Rovers with a Savage Penalty on his debut.
  6. Sav has said that the ex- rovers players at Birmingham told him it was the right move and he will love it up here. Does that mean they enjoyed Blackburn more than Blackburn? And as for who is a better club? Birmingham have only signed players who couldnt break into our first team, Johnson, Taylor, Yorke and Dunny towards the end of his rovers career. We have signed one of their most importiant players. This shows alot for the Strength of the two sides and the pulling power the clubs have.
  7. Where abouts are these pics i cant see any
  8. We have won 4 out of the last 5 in all competitions, lost about 2 in the last 10 or something and still mark lawencen predicts us to loose every week! Does he have something against us? because the football reasons for predicting us to loose dont stick. What a muppet, an extremely annoying man. However his bad predicitions seem to work well for rovers as we tend to do well in the games he predicts us to loose.
  9. I would have given dickov a rest personally and gone with Stead Gally or Johnson Gally. Also id probably have rested todd as we dont want our on form defender burning out. But apart from that pretty much the expected team. Pedersen and Gally to score in a 2-1 win
  10. Greaty signing. We must try to presuade fergy to stay, we would have an immense midfield then. Otherwise we must look for a replacement, attacking midfielder. David Bentley would be cheap i reckon, but mabye thommo can fill the gap. He hasnt been proven there though.
  11. We should put alot of effort in this cup. A good cup run and the chance of some silverware would be good attraction for other players looking at the club.
  12. Does a bid of £3m mean 3m in cash and the money we owe cancelled, or does it mean that we get 500k after payin £7m? if so thats @#/?.
  13. I dont see anything wrong with winding up the Kop after they had given him stick all game. It makes the game more interesting and exciting to watch. I know id taunt the turf moor turds with my celebrations if i scored, and alot of other disliked fans for that matter. Rooneys temprement will improve with age, its all about gaining experience at the moment, hes only 19 remember. Beckham and Gerrard both had the same problems when younger, now this aggression has been used to improve their game.
  14. We should have enough to overcome cardiff at home. I think we should play an attacking and youthful side but with enough experience to make sure of the result. Friedel Neil todd Mokoena Gray Thompson Douglas Pedersen Gally Johnson Stead Why not try giving Johnson a go, gally could be at his best behind a front two as he tends to come deep. keep pedersens form and confidence going, give stead a chance to end his goal drought. I think gray is a more attacking full back and suitable for home games, he might be more like last season now. Also Johansson a rest for the more importiant league and keep moko in the side following his good performances. Would like to play nelsen but hes unavailable.
  15. Whats happening with savage now? it looked as if we were about to sign him and its gone quiet again.
  16. Did Mokoena look good against cardiff? anyone see him? heard he looked good. (as in play well, not look nice) I seriously dont want ferguson to go, Emerton Ferguson Savage MGP looks a very good midfield and should easily keep us in the prem. However if he is adamant on leaving the story of us giving £3m and Gray to B'ham and recieving £4m and Micheal Ball sounds the best deal. Cover at left back, a shocking left back off the wage bill also. With plenty of defensive cover and with Mokoena and savage added to the midfield we should be on the look out for a striker. The £3m spent on Savage would have been far better spent on Ashton in my eyes. But cheap strikers with decent records can be found if enough searching is done. Bolton have proved good players can be cheap.
  17. As i said i think savage is underrated. His goal on saturday was quality and i have lost count of the number of quality assists and crosses he has provided for heskey and morrison. May be slightly expensive seeing as hes 30 but the quality of player cant be argued with. Ferguson and Savage center Mid is excellent and the right mix i think. With Mokoena and Nelsen coming in hopefully defense is tightened up. I also think if stead can get a goal he will discover his for and a striker is not needed. Dikov has scored 7 this season. Defoe and Johnson have only scored 3 league goals more. We should be positive at the moment. Your always going to get some whingers no matter who is signed but thats life. Also its pleasing to see that Mark Hughes name is attacting players as can be seen with the savage deal. I dont think we should think of this as a done deal however, as its possible hes going nowhere.
  18. I think Robbie Savage would be an excellent signing! HE scores his fare share two and i think his skill is underrated. for example his overhead attemt against us which hit the post. He scraps like dikov, which may mean we could get away with not playing dikov and put stead gally or a new transfer with more quality in from the start. My only concern is i hope we dont spend all out bidget on him as we seriously need a goalscorer. Hartson would be excellent as he seems to score wherever hes playing and tends to start scoring quickly. Good to see the defence being worked on, doing well at the moment but i still feel its not up to the premiership standard and the replacements on the bench are abysmal. Dont know anything about Nelsen or Mokena though.
  19. YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!! Gally you beauty! Pens seem to be like busses, wait ages for one and they all come at once! A win has been coming, hopefully its a turning point in the season.
  20. Thats taught him to never joke again! Some of you are such stiffs! Lighten up!
  21. I heard a while ago, that Rovers were negotiation with some team, think it might have been a belgian team or something, cant remember, to be a feeder club to us. Did this ever happen? what was the team called? I wonder if there could be any decent signings available from there. Im sure chelseas feeder club is PSV!! Not a bad club to start with!
  22. Got to get rid of Tugay and Amoruso now, there both off the pace of the prem, Tugay because hes past it and Amoruso never was, he makes so many mistakes! They will be on high wages also, sell them and bring a good centre back in with the funds!
  23. Think of it this way, if you were the best players and captain of a struggling England team who were struggling to qualify for the WC would you play if you had a slight strain? i know i would!
  24. Rooney and Shearer are different players! Rooney drops off and creates more, whilst shearer is a target man. I dont think rooney will ever score as many as shearer (although he will score alot!), but i think he will create more for his team mates! He did this brilliantely at Euro 2004 aswell as score, just Owen was too @#/? to take any of the chances!
  25. i guess it was ###### then!
