I wouldn't say we suffered because of fup, more like we suffered because of the total incompetence of our club's management who failed to either comply with it or get round it. I'm not a big fan of it as it just ended up giving big clubs a way of pulling up the ladder after themselves but in our case it probably saved us from more ridiculous spending by the idiots who run our club.
I think the main test for the rest of the season is can we score goals without Rhodes? If we improve on what we have done so far we'll win more games than before as we have been decent at the back all season. If we don't improve we'll probably go down or just about go down. As long as we don't go down it's irrelevant really where we finish.
Getting really sick of people having a go at anyone who leaves the club. If they weren't ambitious and looking to progress they would have never come here for in the first place so no point having a go at them for leaving. We're getting as bad as Arsenal fans.
There are worse teams on paper than us but they aren't saddled with this shambles of a club which just crawls along like a rudderless ship. Unless the club gets sorted I think we'll go down because there is no one who can stop it happening.
As we don't have any kind of exec management structure in place who apart from the owners would GB have a working relationship with?
Remember Appleton, he had no relationship with them at all and look what happened to him. On the subject of Appleton, he has hair now. I am convinced that amount of hair is proportional to ability as a manager so he might be worth another shot as manager.
On line rumour mongering and ITK ing is just the modern version of telling the bloke in the chippy that your sister's boyfriend's mate saw Ray Wilkins looking at a house in Wilpshire. You should take it with a pinch of salt.
