  3. Can we just give up! Eff the Venky's and Waggott, They need to go. Another season of not reaching the playoffs and this is down to them, they knew what we needed back in December, and have not acted on it.
  4. He also said that the media were talking to Eustace at 12.30, nothnig has come out of that an hour later, which seems a little strange.
  5. We need the Indian press asking questions to them. Why have they left us to rot, not been here for years, why keep hold of us,, sell up and move on.
  6. Pete O'Rourke @SportsPeteO Luton Town are poised to sign Wigan Athletic star Thelo Aasgaard in a deal in excess of £3m. Player is now set for talks and medical with the Championship strugglers. #LTFC #wafc
  7. I suppose it will be easier come end of season with so many out of contract for them to wind us up?
  8. Also, Blackburn chief to leave New 30 minutes ago By Alan Nixon Blackburn Rovers academy chief Stuart Jones is quitting despite a handful of his discoveries making the first team squad. Long serving Jones is leaving at a time when Rovers are including four or five of their home grown kids in a vital boost to their group.
  9. Not tongue in cheek, willing to come aswell apparently. Blackburn ask about O’Brien New 28 minutes ago By Alan Nixon Blackburn Rovers have asked for Lewis O’Brien on loan - two years after their deadline day disaster. Boss John Eustace fancies the drive of midfielder O’Brien to add to his team and the player would go despite the botched attempt to sign him cause mayhem. Nottingham Forest want as much of O’Brien’s £40,000-a-week wages as they can get.
  10. We have enquired about Lewis O’Brien on loan. They want majority of £40,000 a week wages covered.
  11. It's alright, the club will always give us an update! It's their duty. 🙂
  12. Good luck to Vale, but I think we need another striker in now though.
  13. Blackburn Rovers are trying to sign Fulham’s flying winger Martial Godo on loan. Godo is seen as the perfect alternative to Siriki Dembele who joined Oxford instead. He could sign before the close of business. The quick wide man was on loan at Wigan last season and looks capable of a step up to the Championship.
  14. Rest in peace, Sir Jack. Can't believe it is 24 years since we lost the biggest Rovers fan ever.
  15. Stoke and Bristol City are battling it out for Andrew Moran on loan from Brighton.
  16. Was there really almost 18000 attendance? As shown on Rovers website?
  17. I think Ipswich will wait to hear the outcome of the court case in India on 20th before they decide on a figure for Sammie. That way they could get him for less if as expected the case goes against the owners.
  18. So Nixon is suggesting we want guaranteed £9million for SS, with extras to take up to £12million.
  19. 1. Winners of the Championship - BURNLEY 2. Runners-up in the Championship - LEEDS 3. Championship Play-off final winners - LUTON 4. Where will Rovers finish the season? - 22ND 5. Who will be the BRFCS Player of the Season? (As voted for in the Match Centre on BRFCS) - BRITTAIN 8. A wildcard prediction for something (possibly quite mad) that will happen to or at Rovers during this coming season - NEW MANAGER/CEO/OWNERS
  20. They can't even get the report right, it was away to Bristol City he was on the bench, not Rovers! Rovers are delighted to announce that we have reached an agreement with top young talent Igor Tyjon for him to remain at Ewood Park, amidst interest from a host of Premier League clubs. The 16-year-old starlet, who has already been part of the matchday squad for two Championship games, is one of 14 promising players to sign a two-year scholarship contract with the club through to June 2026. Tyjon joined Rovers from Rochdale last summer and has enjoyed a meteoric rise for both club and country over the past 12 months. He scored on his debut for Rovers Under-21s against PSV Eindhoven aged just 15 last November, before making the bench for the first team fixture away to Bristol Rovers in April. He then bagged a match-winning brace against Everton in Premier League 2 just a few days later, before again being part of the first team squad for the final day triumph over champions Leicester City. On the international scene, he has earned three caps for both England and Poland Under-16s, scoring twice for each nation, including a brace on his Young Lions debut in a 3-1 victory over Saudi Arabia in the Football Federations Cup in February. The exciting and energetic attacker has been training with the first team since the start of pre-season and is expected to remain with the senior squad ahead of the upcoming 2024-25 Championship campaign. Rovers also wish to welcome Michael Decandia, Isaac Dunn, Valentin Joseph, Leon Kelly-Quinn, Freddie Leatherbarrow, Bruce Leeming, Tyler Mansbridge, Harvey Pates, Aaron Potter, Jayden Sergeant, Luke Thompson, Frank Vare, Blake Wolsoncroft to the club. The talented teenagers are also part of the intake of first year scholars at the Academy, who officially became full-time footballers with the club on July 1st. The club would like to wish all the new scholars the very best of luck over the next two years, as they pursue their dreams of becoming professional players.
  21. I reckon it might be about Rory Finneran possibly.
