  1. Not sure how much fun you can have playing with a smouldering train wreck, but hey-ho. If that's the case, I'll be popping my clogs seeing my precious club handed onto the spawn of a brain-dead walrus. Fab.
  2. The invites question is why do they refuse to sell us, what are they getting out of owning us? They're no bloody good at it, it's costing them a fortune, there's no benefit, so why hang around
  3. They either don't learn or they don't care. Naiivety to me is a lack of experience leading to poor decision-making. This is poor decision-making and an almost complete lack of oversight. Seems like an attitude of "don't bring me your problems, just tell me when it's sorted." It's difficult to imagine a worse set of owners. Ken Richardson, George Reynolds maybe. But that was Donny and Darlo. You're talking about Blackburn Rovers here, "to be handled with care". So, thank you very much Walker Trust, you've done Jack proud. Passed us on to very capable hands. Totally bang-up copaceptic job. Well done, lads. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/263947.stm https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/18736405.former-darlington-fc-chairman-george-reynolds-go-trial-next-year/
  4. “I don’t think it was too different from what we’ve been doing every week, yet we’ve been losing 1-0 and we could have lost that 1-0 had Sam not headed that one into the net, and the questions would have kept coming about how we haven’t won enough football matches" But since we drew the game, there won't be any questions about how we're not winning enough? 🤔 🤔 🤔 what is this flipping maniac smoking?
  5. This is all very reminiscent of the discussions that used to take place about Jordan Rhodes
  6. What can I say , its been a long lockdown.
  7. Is it just me, or does Eddie hiwe look a bit like Nichola sturgeon? Michael Appleton?! Farking heck. What henning berg doing these days?
  8. If only we knew the date it would happen, I'd put myself into a cryogenic chamber with instructions to revive me VV day plus one
  9. It's the owners I want out. It barely matters who the manager is. We just have to have venkys out.
  10. Club morale must be so low. Its bad enough following the games. Playing for that teapot must be so demotivating
  11. We want to be free, to do what we wanna do. We want to destroy venkys, and eat their children. And we want to have a bloody good moan
  12. Looks like he's just followed through
  13. Best thing for that is prune juice. Failing that, an enema. Might be enough to dislodge waggott
  14. There a total mistrust of the club hierarchy, the covenant between the club and the fans has been damaged, in some cases possibly beyond repair. That mistrust can lead to anxiety that the Club is going to take decisions that, from the fans' point of view are not in its best interests. We all know how toxic the club was under kean, I think there's a danger here that anxiety could slip onto paranoia. 1864 is not a plant. Maybe a loony. But not a plant. Steve waggott is a weed, though
  15. Oh, abso-fecking-looterlee-looo brethren. But, are they trying to smash some money out of the club infrastructure to offset the appalling losses that their ineptitude has caused, before putting it up for sale? I'm living in hope.
  16. Jaw-dropping really. An assistant manager gets involved with selling off a club's training ground. The format that the new training facilities will take has not been revealed, but they will occupy half the space they did before. How anyone can think it's a good idea, or be willing to see it green lighted before deciding its a bad idea, I just don't know. But then again, some of our fans were willing to back kean until it became undeniable that he was very bad news for the club
  17. It's not the managers job to avoid criticism, but to take decisions in the best interests of the club. He most definitely has form for rushing players back. Third game in a week and he keeps him on the pitch for the whole game. Utterly barking. Even more so given the state of the pitch. He's been rushed back because of our appalling run. But the reason we're on such a run isn't primarily because we're missing Dack, but because our squad is unbalanced and the manager has no strategy and consistency. Dack has suffered as a consequence. I hope it's just a tweak.
  18. As I thought, total bollards. Just like listening to Tony Mogadon. "dominating the ball" or whatever. Just total claptrap. Good old Don mackay. Those were the days. Had a great team then
  19. Can I just put my hand up here and say that that description of expansive football, I can't understand a bloody word of it. Sounds like a deepity. It's not a modern innovation, it's not a system, if you're playing expansive football, it's long precision pass and move, that's what I've always understood by it. But in all honesty, I couldn't care less. If that's how Mowbray talks to the players, no wonder we're playing like a gash pit. That's only one thing that matters about football and that's winning. no one remembers the losers
  20. He's world class at digging himself a hole for no good reason 👍
  21. LET'S BUILD ON IT! 👍 🤔
  22. I'm convinced that we're going nowhere until venkys go, sorry
