Manchester Originals - Cricket... Kind of?
broadsword replied to a topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football
I can't understand the need to create these new teams. It's total nonsense and it's going to be an epic fail -
This is why I find it hard to care. They've broken my spirit these people have. Completely killed off any hope of improvement. This is the TENTH year of their reign. I'm going out of my nut with it all. It's beyond a shit show. They're turning this club into a write off

The reputation of the club

I've given up. Things will never improve until they go, but I'm not sure they ever will. I'm one of those who said what's the point in getting rid of Tony, because the next guy will be worse. That's not to say his performance isn't worthy of the sack. Deep down I still care, but I try to pretend that I don't, because caring hurts. A lot -
I don't feel any bitterness towards him. Clearly he should go. But they'll just appoint another time server. It all seems so futile. The names change but the song remains the same. Who's next? Gary Megson?

Three day week was under Ted heath, no?
-
No, they're really not. Rationing, being bombed whether in the street or from above, bananas and chicken being seen as exotic food stuffs, three day week, binmen on strike , sick man of Europe. You must be joking. But the disaster capitalists want to make life miserable for the people again, and some of the people are helping them by believing their nonsense

"Our team needs improving in lots of areas I would suggest and the players know that." How many players has this geezer signed? Is he saying that his signings have been gash? I can't see any rhyme it reason to the players that signs. I still get the feeling that it isn't down to him. What a mess. We're overspending on rubbish. Not strengthening the defence which is shipping goals for fun. At this rate, not only are we going down, we're going bust as well
-
Yes, they have no idea what they're doing and don't trust anyone. So they'd rather carry on looking for their keys where there's a street light, even though they dropped them in the dark half a mile down the road. There's no point of having any hope until these people have left
-
I can't understand it. He doesn't seem a foolish geezer from the things he says. But my god, he transfers are gash, of at least a mixed bag, the squad is unbalanced and the line-ups don't make sense. Is he being told who to sell and who to buy and who to pick? If we bin him, who do we get in? Someone like coyle again? I think damien Johnson would do a good job, just a feeling. In all honesty, this club won't get anywhere while venkys are still here anyway

Damien Johnson would be an interesting one. Quite honestly, why not? We've had so many no - hopers, let's have Damien. -

I'm too apathetic to say Mowbray out. Whomever we get in next week be u just as bad, or even worse. -

Must do, Benny Ben Benningben left the club at Christmas. Replaced by Tony Toni Toné -
Guaranteed that we won't go for any of them, if we do in fact get rid of Tony

Perhaps you'd like to have a sit down and a nice cup of tea while matron sorts out the ladder in your tights -

Think he pinged one of the crossbar from distance, he really smacked it. Think it was during tony parkes ' caretaker period in Ninety one. I'm sure getting that diagnosis da scarey place to be. I wish him all the best -
When Charlie Austin was playing? Yeah, think it was a draw. The language was awful. Hoillett really copped for some as well. I was stood there cringing.

I remember going to QPR in '93 and everyone was singing: "QP-RRRRR, QP-RRR, QP-hahahahahahaaa!" Which is a lot better than 2013 I think it was, with a load of anti-Burnley songs and digs at Charlie Austin, and generally shouting the w word as often as poss.

They're reading emails half a mile away from the computer screen... Yep, that makes perfect sense now that I think about it
