Can't see Johnson making it. He tried some nice touches on Sunday, but reacted too slowly afterwards. The drummer got right on my t*ts (as usual), and there seemed to be a bit of antagonism with the home fans. Roll on next season.

I don't know, perhaps he's relying on the brand name, ie fans will still turn up without any further transfer spending. I think he'd have to be a prize chump to demand that players eg Rooney are sold off. But I guess we'll find out.

He's an incredibly rich chap with incredibly large liabilities. I wouldn't say that he has the same business strategy of Abramovich. I should imagine he'll be looking to maximise profits, and then sell the club on a few years down the line for more than he paid for it.

There's a lesson in there for Rovers! Jack was considering turning the club public, I'm thankful that he didn't. Not seen too much of him this season, but he's always tended to be a bit of a lunger, well since he's slowed down anyway, don't think his injuries have helped in that sense. Can occasionally come out with moments of magic, like that goal at Wimbledon in 2000.
