  1. I think about the same could be said about Love Guru too. I was a bit put off by the critics but finally went to see it last friday and did not regret. It's pretty much the same stuff as the Wayne's Worlds and the Austins. The story isn't perhaps quite as strong this time, but the laughs are still there. So if you liked his previous films I'd think you'd like this one as well. Maybe take the few beers before hands too to make sure, especially if you're not in to hockey or gurus or such "If Jack would help you off the elephant, would you help Jack off the elephant" Enough said.
  2. Great to hear this. C'mon Stevie, get back soon

  4. How about Gizza ? Either that or Jimmy.
  5. Here's my predictions. For some reason I believe/hope that Fulham goes down. It seems that the Egyptian has lost interest and I've not felt very confident of Colemans management skills. 1. Chelsea 2. ManU 3. Arse 4. Liverpool 5. Spurs 6. Boro 7. Blackburn 8. Newcastle 9. Aston Villa 10. Birmingham 11. Everton 12. Man City 13. Bolton 14. Charlton 15. Portsmouth 16. West Ham 17. West Brom 18. Fulham 19. Wigan 20. Sunderland
  6. I give my vote to this, it's been one of my favorites for a while now. Electrifying to say the least Teenage Fanclub's Sparky's Dream and Hard Fi's Hard To Beat could both be somewhat suitable too. If we would play Benny Hill for the opponents, I'm sure against Bolton it would be Brendan Benson's Spit It Out and the Matlock theme.
  7. Maybe not a mousemat, but I could be interested of that DVD. Shyte music and nine goals by Paul Dickov. Sounds like good friday night entertainment already If someone wants to part with his/hers copy of that DVD or just make a copy of it send me PM or something. Cheers
  8. Yeah, just typical Finland. Our mens team have also lost two recent games in the closing minutes. But I agree about the game. It was surprisingly exciting. I Haven't watched womens football before so I had no expectations, but it was mostly proper good open football. Looks like I have to watch the rest of Finland's heroic defeats in the tournament too.
  9. Damn, I have too slow fingers
  10. Personally I don't take the slagging off in the press that seriously, but here's someone to back up The Rovers' style of play for a change, Gordon Strachan that is: http://football.guardian.co.uk/Columnists/...1466119,00.html
  11. As Rovers have recently won Saints and Norwich pretty confidently, I'd expect the same against the Palace lot. 3-1, with Riihilahti scoring a late consolation for them. Personally, I'd still give Thompson this last chance saloon. He has played a lot better against the smaller clubs than he has in big games against the likes of Arse and Chelski. Put him in for the first half. If he is shyte again then get Emerton in from the bench. I reckon Brett has also been a lot better when he has come in as a sub in comparison to his performances during most of the season while he was the first choice player in his position. C'mon Rovers
  12. They possibly could have but I wouldn't say they should have. I reckon they played back then in the same qualification group with Finland? They sure worked well as a defensive unit but I really didn't see them as an attacking threat. Against us they created about three chances in two games. They scored from all of those, yes, but against better sides like the Ruskies you can't count on such finishing rate, unless you are a Greek I think Hughes did good job with them anyway. Hopefully he just finds some more attacking solutions now when he is with Rovers.
  13. Aye, that's a classic My choice could be Saint Etienne's You're in a Bad Way. Everything 90's are soon in again, and what could be more 90's than Blackburn Rovers and Saint Etienne?
  14. Not the best of games but at least it was nice to see Rovers to go through. Personally I would have fancied to see an other goal as well, for that penalty looked a bit fifty-fifty decision to me. Probably to the ref too becouse he didn't call it straight away. Then again, I don't think there's a whole lot of moaning for the Leicester fans for there weren't really no chances for them at all and a handfull of close ones for us besides that one. Furthermorely, I think everyone played overall pretty well but there just wasn't much of creativity in the air. One notable point was that Emerton looked a bit hungry and eager again for a change when he came in from the bench. Hopefully this is a sign that he is going to get a bit of something in to his game from here on, for he is a good player but hasn't really played up to his standard in a couple of games I've seen lately. I'm also still a fan of Thompson for all his enthusiasm and go for it attitude. Sometimes he just don't cut it but usually he gets in at least two or one good chances a game. Flitcroft looked a bit invisible, but I guess that was his role?
  15. Don't know much about the Norwegian PL, but the Finnish players who are there are hardly international super talents so I think I have a right to have a slight doubt about the overall quality of the league Btw Enckelman played 45 mins and let in one own goal In the end we won 2-1.
