  1. Maybe not initially but if we dropped to league 1 and were right up in the promotion mix, you'd expect some half decent crowds too, the winning feeling will always stir interest on that front. From what I've seen, league 1 is the poorest it's been for a while this season as well so even with departures we'd probably be up there with a team we cobbled together. I don't think Swag especially would be too concerned about relegation given his short term/selfish goals....
  2. Pretty sure this TK bloke must be related to my old PE teacher, same surname, same pro venkys shite being spouted on socials too🤔
  3. I really hope Stockport get promoted, as it stands its a pretty dull championship next season from my perspective. As gutting as it can be losing to the twats up the road it's still a unique couple of matches. The teams coming down from the prem are very much meh category and mainly long treks. Bolton have fluffed it, wouldn't have minded playing them again. Preston doesn't excite me one bit, I know some consider then a derby but not me. As for the teams coming up, Birmingham will probably do ok next season but again no excitement in that one. Wrexham would be ok I guess but I assume a small allocation. Wycombe/Charlton/Orient/Reading though? 😴
  4. A few positive results will have created a whiff of optimism and persuade a few people to have a rethink now, not huge numbers but no doubt the club will play on how we nearly made the play offs, again and that fans could help give us the extra push next season 🙄
  5. I don't think Sunderland making changes benefits us much at all, the fringe players will be well up for it and trying to stake a claim for the play off fixtures. Prior to this they've only scored 4 goals in their last 7 games and haven't scored more than 1 goal in a game since Cardiff at the start of March. I'd be a little concerned if I was a fan of theirs. 3-1 away win.
  6. There's probably an element of Dolan putting himself in the shop window a bit too, he has been decent past few games. Over the course of a season he's either good or awful, there's no inbetween and it's very frustrating - I would prefer him to stay here like. If Derby stay up he's going there, just can't see them paying big wages in league 1 though although I'd expect JE to get them back up first time.
  7. Fair enough 👌 Maybe they turned a bit of a corner after going 2 down against sheff weds the other night, it's too little too late like but it's always nice to win games.
  8. Been working so didn't watch today but just watched the highlights and looks like we were pretty lucky with them clattering the bar twice. Weird finish from Yuki but they all count. The second yellow for the red was absurd but standard for a championship ref. Luton fans ought to be very concerned if they can't turn us over.
  9. That Pasha out banner is brilliant, hats off to whoever is responsible 👏 It's clear as day and you can see it a mile off, the rat himself definitely saw it. Could make for an interesting phone call from Pune "Mr Pasha we get the impression the supporters would like you to leave", highly unlikely but we can live in hope that somehow they're even aware of it!
  10. They're absolutely rattled behind the scenes, the people who used to share bits of info on team news seem to have been gagged in the last week as well and they were always spot on so must have been Brockhall employees. Sounds like pretty much an internal revolt at the minute and absolute carnage behind the scenes, which comes as no surprise. Fair play to those spilling home truths, probably people now past caring about their jobs 👍
  11. I'm guessing it'll be their lowest following for quite a while given how their season has gone badly tits up, sounds familiar? A truly shocking attendance awaits. Fans of both teams should just go on the pitch and have a tug-of-war and the winner gets 3 points, it'll be more interesting than a game of football. I've zero interest in attending and I even feel like not watching it, again. But I will do, I think its more like morbid curiosity now though as to how shit we can be. We've had some really shit managers but I don't think I've disliked one as much as VI since Kean and Coyle, I think he's done it in record time though tbh this many games in. Nothing to like about him as a manager and comes across as an all round twat in general. Of course the vast majority fully expected it too.
  12. Absolutely blows my mind that those 3 are being paid much much more (I presume) than anyone on this board and not one of them has an ounce of intelligence.
  13. As soon as I was sent the team in the morning with Woodrow starting I made the decision to not even watch or even keep tabs on the score. The result is pretty much as expected although I thought Pompey would manage 2 goals. We knew this manager would be dog shit, we knew Woodrow would be too, absolutely zero interest in the remainder of this season. As it stands I'm also absolutely dreading next season too, there's no way on this planet that we avoid relegation under this stiff. It'll be a huge ask for even a decent manager given what he'll be working with too. At least get someone remotely likeable in though and get the players playing again. VI has the charisma of a potato, but at least potatoes are versatile. He'll be filed away in the same cunt like folder Steve Kean is when he inevitably departs, let's just hope that's sooner rather than later. Honestly can't believe over 1k fans went yesterday, hats off to them indeed, they must be insane though! I'd close the curtains if they were playing in my back garden at the moment.
  14. What if I told you Woodrow starts up top in a 442 🤔
  15. Under this manager we haven’t looked capable of winning a game never mind putting a run together. I’d say this is probably VI’s toughest fixture to date too.
  16. Classic Waggott move. He absolutely knows season ticket sales will be dire next season so he's getting them on sale quicker so he can say "we tried, we got the tickets on sale quicker following feedback from fan groups". Effectively trying to blame the fan base when the final sales figures or so low. "Nothing more we can do" 🙄 Even priced super low, sales would struggle for next season regardless. Unless of course the twats in Pune sell up.
  17. What a ridiculous comment, but not surprising. Step outside your bubble, you're clearly commenting on the nightlife on your doorstep. Get out a bit more, do some travel and you'll realise the nightlife hasn't 'gone' everywhere in the country at all.
  18. If you’re mid 40’s upwards you then like myself I genuinely think we got very lucky indeed growing up supporting the club when we did. League and cup wins, promotions, watching our team in Europe multiple times. Watching some ridiculously good players like Shearer, the list goes on and on. In addition, life in general in this area was much better, the nightlife was spot on, people travelling from miles around to attend dance events that will go down in history. I think that’s partly why people around this age and above have an added level of hatred for those rats in Pune and the vermin they’ve brought anywhere near our club. I hope for my kids sakes we rise again but I won’t be taking my youngest much as things stand, she plays football and has all the good stuff coached into her, she doesn’t need to witness the poisonous mess at Ewood for now. My dad had some VHS footage of the homecoming and Ewood as he was in the box Philips had, I need to get him to dust that off and convert it.
  19. 2 years is industry standard in many jobs for finding out someone is useless at their job meaning they jump ship, looks like this fella doesn't even get quite that far. Always rings alarm bells for me when sifting through CV's and I'm not often wrong on the subject!
  20. I think he'd try and save face by walking. There'll be some bullshit mutual agreement statement wheeled out saying he misses his family or something
  21. Waggot only gets a 100k bonus that season ☹️ Although I genuinely believe he will fuck off at the end of this season. He must know now the carpet is nowhere near big enough to brush this summers shit storm under.
  22. ACD was seen as a bit of a coup at the time with a number of clubs after him, really disappointing how he's turned out, although our rotten club can't be an easy place for a kid to develop right now.
  23. You're probably in a minority of fans that aren't blocked by the fat prick. He's a right petulant cry baby if you pull him up on anything.
  24. Who do you see us beating? VI has now lost to 3 of the bottom 5 teams in the league, we'll definitely lose at Luton to make it 4. He's lucky we don't play Plymouth again or it would be all 5. We're a pathetic shell of a football team/club.
  25. You often here people say there's no easy games in the championship. Absolute bollocks, we're an absolute shambles and if you're needing point for a promotion push or a relegation battle, we're the team to play. I genuinely don't think we'll win again all season now.
