  1. 3 of their last 5 at home have finished 0-0, but Pears seems to be in one of his mad confidence crashes and the defence without Batth fills me with zero confidence in a clean sheet. The fans are going into a game against a team near the foot of the table with huge doubts in the teams ability to carve out a win, the players are coming across like they are doubting themselves too. Another loss here and we may as well pot VI now. Still pissed off about Saturday, it's going to take something special tonight to win me round.
  2. Christ it’s really descending into such a dreadful end of season, again. Realistically we should still be dreaming of Wembley, most fans would in our position. Can’t be many people feeling that way though. It’s massively down to the uninspiring managerial appointment, we all had massive doubts and given how “up for it” the players look, we were absolutely right Beyond bored with this shite now. Struggling to muster any interest at all for this one, I’ll at least attempt to watch it as there’s sod all else to do on a Wednesday night though.
  3. Definitely going for it with the attacking team he's putting out 💙🤍 Yuki must have impressed in training he's starting with Kargbo and Dolan too, Gueye up top. Tronstad back is the best news in ages though.
  4. The owners are cunts Waggott is a cunt Suhail is a cunt But despite all that I don't see the issue with people also having a tainted view on Eustace. He walked out on our famous old club FFS. That therefore makes him a cunt too
  5. Football is that unpredictable at the minute, despite our usual tendency to fuck games like this up, we're probably equally as likely to win 5 nil. The only constant is Liverpool winning every week, well maybe not in the FA cup like but still. I watched the highlights of their game at weekend, they huffed and puffed a lot but looked really shit for the most part. Really, really shit. Just hope VI has them up for it, JE definitely will have Derby up for it. Doesn't happen often that both home and away teams are exactly the same odds on 365 at 17/10 so the bookies ain't got a damn clue how it's going to go either....
  6. Bit disappointed really, didn't feel like a classic new manager bounce performance teams often put in. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh given the 2 training sessions VI has had to stamp his mark on the team? Hopefully a full week with the players ahead of Saturday will help. Eustace will have had 3 weeks or so at his new home. Quite a startling stat, for Derby fans anyway, is that in his 3 games in charge his team have managed 2 shots on target 😳 That includes registering 0 at home to Millwall. There's simply no excuses, i personally think our play-off chances are very slim, but I'd probably write them off completely if we can't beat Derby.....
  7. I think Lowe likes Forshaw and I would say he's at least had some input into the team. With regards to fasting it's probably mainly the no drinks that will be the worst part. Evening games shouldn't be an issue, I'm no expert but was talking to a Muslim chap who works for me today who said fasting should end just before 6pm.
  8. Pears seems to have lost his way a bit lately, but let's not forget we were turning in a decent number of clean sheets not that long ago with him in goal, so it is possible to succeed with a weaker link. He also benefits massively when Tronstad is back. Might sound a bit weird but he's usually his outlet and he installs a bit more confidence in him (I think). Anyway fuck slating Pears, let's give it a good collective go from now till the end of the season. I'm not sure how much input VI has on the team selection here given he's literally trained with them once, unless he's been up for the past few nights watching replays of previous games, possible I suppose. As a new manager, like in any walk of life though, he'll want to be seen to making his stamp on things. I think he'll like what he sees from Gueye and also he knows Brittain well. I can't imagine he's gonna throw Woodrow in like..... Maybe a couple of changes and I desperately hope Hedges for Kargbo is one. I'd be swapping Buckley in for Forshaw too. Norwich are well capable of banging a few goals in, but it's mainly at home they do so. Going for a 2-1 home win and an absolute Chad-Spunk explosion on here at FT as he creams over the VI era at Ewood.
  9. People on here might be questioning this letter, but just looks at the comments under it on twitter 🤣 Grown men pretty much declaring their love for Ismael on the back of the letter.....
  10. I doubt he was anyones first choice but then again if we'd just poached him from Barnsley a few years ago people would have been over the moon. Strange how he's faltered a bit since. It's not like WBA or Watford are huge clubs and the pressure got to him so who knows. WBA fans are very scathing of him but they're turning into a bit of a banter club themselves switching managers. Saturday will be intriguing to see how we line up etc. He's got decent tools at his disposal if he wants to play how he has at other jobs and joined at a decent time as injuries seem to be clearing up.
  11. What like with JDT? Sorry if I’m missing the sarcasm…..
  12. I'd take Ismael at this point purely because the whole situation has escalated the amount of shite Chaddy is posting. For anyone massively against Ismael, there's a glimmer of hope for you. He lasted a week in Greece as he fell out with the club president, Venkys and King rat could probably beat that record so we may only see him in charge for a few days 👍
  13. In fairness that's fairly normal practice, fingers crossed there's a shortlist that expands further than the 2 Nixon has mentioned. He'll be loving this, creating meltdowns and essentially controlling the (Very limited) betting market.....
  14. Nope as it stands they're still keeping it incredibly close to their chests, OR doing fuck all about it 🤣 I've still only heard 1 concrete name which is Duff but don't think anything is happening there either. Its quite hard to believe Nixon is getting this exclusive information as nobody else I know is....
  15. Has anyone apart from Nixon said it's between Ismael and Wagner? Everything I've read seems to just stem from his story. Since Park left he isn't getting the tit bits he was. I wouldn't rule out another twist in this yet.....
  16. It just means people are listening to Nixon, again
  17. Within our budget we were always going for young and relatively unproven or experienced, done a bit but a stock fallen significantly. Personally option 1 would be preferred.

  19. Although we love this club I can't really see Karanka and his family holding a massive celebration for getting a job at Blackburn Rovers anyway 🤣 Do they even live in this country, he hasn't managed in England for like 4 years.
  20. Sorry what? 🤣 He's managing a top 6 side in la liga? Maybe we should go for Iraola from Bournemouth as well.....
  21. That queue 😲 Hells bells never seen anything like it to meet a player in one of these events. How fantastic it is to see too 👍
  22. I've got no idea. My personal view is that Duff would be Waggotts choice, the other linked choices absolutely stink of being Rudy picks. We could see a bit of a power struggle and I get the impression Rudy has been getting his way on most things. Which when you factor in he's relatively new to this type of role, is a bit embarrassing for the old timers.
  23. Genuinely don't know where some of these names or links are coming from. Only concrete 1 I know of is Duff. The club are keeping their cards VERY close to their chest on the appointment, usual sources I know drawing blanks.....
