From my perspective, its not that we COULDN'T bring a decent manager to replace Mowbray, we'd still appeal to many. Its the fact the the recruitment team of, presumably swag, WOULDN'T attract a decent manager, in fact I dread to think what the selection policy would be - presumably just the cheapest option possible. Also on Hughton, he's already turned down some biggish championship teams, Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke spring to mind. As I've already said he was clearly holding out for a prem job which hasn't materialised so he's lowered expectations. That said its hardly a crappy job at Forest and its a good chance for him to prove his worth.

Be interesting to see how Hughton gets on, whilst I would have had no real objections to him as our manager he does seem to rate himself rather highly, he's been holding out for a Premier league job i reckon but nobody has come a calling. Quite a few forest fans seem a bit miffed they picked him over Howe...

Missed the point much......... So they weren't fortunate at all? They were nowhere near the likes of Leeds in terms of performances, hence them being rock bottom already with a -8 goal difference! Even we scored more goals than them last season, but our goals came from various positions, luckily for them they had Mitro who bagged 26 goals in - when you have the leagues top scorer doing that you're in the top 6 9 times out of 10 so yeah lets hope Armstrong can emulate that success eh? I didn't see anyone saying they wouldn't swap positions with them? Of course its the position we're all thriving to be in so keep your therapy on hold.

Is he bollocks. Fulham were lucky to go up last year, they just had one of the best strikers in the league to bang 20 odd goals in. Its almost certain they'll be back in the championship next season, that's pretty much the level of team that would have taken a punt on Tosin though.

Would be a strange move for the keeper, he turned down Olympiakos as he wanted first team football apparently.

You can tell when people haven't played football at a decent level. Playing against 10 men is quite often harder than playing vs 11. -

Woeful game. Mainly because of them but still. Ironically our best player was possibly Bell, their worst Cunningham ? Hopefully Dolan keeps his head up, they are a dirty team and did their homework on him. Gallagher, yep abysmal looking still. Thinking positively another clean sheet, 3 in a row, last time that happened? Whilst given very little to do, again Kami looked cool and composed. . -

Big test for Kaminski tomorrow as he's gonna have to deal with a lot of high balls into the box you would have thought. I have every confidence he will, 3-0 Rovers. -
I'm not saying I'd necessarily do it, but it could happen. He's gonna probably miss a good few games through suspension and injury as per anyway.
-
He does it a lot it really annoys me how many stupid bookings he gets. Well he wants to be careful, Del aint doing too bad and Ayala must be near enough ready now so he might find himself out the team....
-
Injuries can work in mysterious ways sometimes. Maybe he's gonna stand up and be counted now Travis is out too. Adam Armstrong actually turned a massive corner when Dacky got injured and look at him now!

Was an absolute banker, as much as I hate that word

Think its well known on here I've tried to big this boy up relentlessly based on the performances I saw from him in the England u19. Its an absolute joy to see him brimming with confidence and hopefully, eventually winning a few people round. Well done Ben.

Danny Ings any time is your value bet there chap

Derby, rather like ourselves are weak at left back. Nyambe and Dolan could have an absolute field day down that side tomorrow and must be allowed to both start. Another clean sheet would be nice but I'm going Derby 1 Rovers 3.
-
Bell is bobbins, Williams at left back is worse I'm afraid. He's decent enough at centre half mind.

If Nyambe has a desire to leave because he was given a rest vs Wycombe to preserve him for what should be a lot tougher test next week, he can bloody leave! He seems to be over the whole must play Bennett issue thankfully (I think). -

Nyambe has hamstrings made of play-doh, like many players who have a bit of pace, giving him a day off yesterday turned out very well for us. Don't get me wrong, I was baffled and annoyed when I saw the lineup if I'm honest, sometimes you just have to say yep, you got that one right Mowbray though. -
Any semi decent reporter would have asked him to elaborate on the priority position. Lancs live is a real crock of shite
-
Just put him in a large bin bag with some bricks and I'll throw him in the canal at Eanam with a few lads if he's holding things up

The day The season diedddddd Bye bye mrs Mowbrays pie ??

I'm talking many years ago, like 95, it most certainly a good time!
