  1. Why are we like this? Probably win all our remaining games now and miss the play offs by 3 points due to the last few shocking performances against bog standard teams ?
  2. In 2 minds whether to even bother watching it, I probably will as there's not a lot else to do on a Tuesday night but I'm certainly not looking forward to it. I imagine Cardiff will win at a canter as another season of promise fizzles out. Same again next season? ?
  3. Thats my biggest fear too, and perhaps the reason I've tolerated him longer than some. We're still an attractive job for a good manager, I just have little faith in whoever would be in charge of recruitment.
  4. The pro Mowbray numbers must surely be at rock bottom now, even my dad wants him out and he's been as patient as anyone. Forget his chopping and changing for a minute as a lot of managers are doing the same right now. One of the biggest issues I have with him is how he's seemingly wrecked the confidence of many players completely. What the hell is he doing to them besides playing them out of position? Gallagher a prime example yesterday, was anyone expecting him to actually score when through on goal? He was literally terrified! He must now be in a position where he would actually cheer if benched, same goes for Brereton. You could of course argue that they're both shite, and at present its hard to disagree, but there's more to it for me. Chapman another prime example, must wonder why on earth he even bothered signing. Managers in all walks of life are given targets, surely given the money he's spent play offs are his? He is failing, hopefully they pull the plug at the end of the season, not sure i can cope with another season of this.
  5. Well in our first home game back we were good, It'll be interesting to see if that makes a blind bit of difference, not really sure why it would unless they thrive on the crowd noise through the tannoy but we shall see. No reason we can't beat Leeds in this bonkers league so I certainly won't write us off pre kick off like many seem to be doing. 2-1 Rovers
  6. I feel sorry for the staff if their jobs are inevitably at risk. Couldn't care less about anything else in relation to Wigan. They installed us as rivals years ago and have acted like tossers towards us ever since. I don't just forget about how they acted when they sent us down or the abuse they dished out to Dack after ending his (and effectively our) season.
  7. To be quite honest most of the keepers in this league are average at best, you see constant howlers. At the end of the day they'd be playing at a higher level otherwise. Walton won't, and I doubt many others will unless they win promotion and their managers keep the faith.
  8. Its fair to say Wigan will have known all about Waltons weak points from when he played there. Yes I do realise someone is tempted to pipe up and ask what his strong points are
  9. Walton was vastly improved pre lock down but has gone massively backwards. Bennett has never seen being a left back but you can't be too pissed off at him for it, he doesn't pick the team. It's a strange feeling hoping Bell will be fit again soon but that's where we're at right about now!
  10. All those can go but Downing? No chance I'd be waving bye to him.
  11. He we still are, outside of the play office spots?
  12. We could possibly start this game 11th in the table if Swansea beat Luton at home, Derby beat Reading at home and Millwall beat Barnsley away. I reckon at least 2 of those will happen, possibly all 3. Taking that into account, as much as I hate the term, this is a 'must win' folks.....
  13. It feels oh so similar to the build up to the Wigan game at home. We had our tails up after just beating Bristol funnily enough away from home. What followed was a dreadful game and a dire run facing life without Dack. We really can't afford a slip up at weekend though or its curtains on the season for me. Will this time be different? I'd be telling lies if I said I was brimming with confidence.
  14. Yep, I think yesterday was the first time Leipzig had failed to score all season, its definitely having an impact. I wonder if Leeds might fall apart without the crowd roaring them on?
  15. My now 3 month old sleeps from about 10pm till 8 or 9am most nights, her sister was the same. Guess it's just pot luck!
  16. Seen a few people commenting on us having tricky away games but as I've said before, is there such thing as home advantage now? I guess you will know your own pitch a bit better and don't have to travel but surely it's not like it was? Playing Leeds at home without a packed Darwen end will also be more appealing.
  17. Regarding Gallagher, I actually watched the game on Robins TV the Bristol version. They were saying first half what a clever player he was and worrying their defence. I'm not saying I particularly agree but it's always interesting hearing how they read the game. I'd be starting Brero and Armo up front at Wigan
  18. Tbf, and I was in shock, Merson watched our game and just tipped us as play off dark horses saying we looked full of goals. Not often we get nice things said on sky sports news! Wigan now on 5 clean sheets in a row so that's gonna be a real battle. Imagine if we could bloody go to the game! ?
  19. As it stands only Wigan apart from us have managed more than a goal. Even West Brom have had like 1 shot on goal. Only real negative this far is Walton flapping at their goal. Every game I've watched lately has seen keepers making mistakes, they definitely look to have suffered worse without playing.
  20. Well the Boro game is working so iFollow hasn't crumbled and gone tits up just yet
  21. I can't really help but from what I'm reading its affecting fans from every single club, it's an ifollow balls up. My dad still hasn't got his sorted, he was speaking to someone from the club yesterday and they couldn't resolve it so have now had to raise a ticket with the IT team at ifollow to contact him. Who knows when that will be, imagine they're snowed under!
  22. Its staggered in quite a few countries like Spain as you point out. Not a fan of it to be honest it just lends itself to armchair fans more than anything else.
  23. The deadline won't be a date and time defined by Rovers its an efl/ifollow thing so they can get everything sorted pre kick off. You could of course argue the club should have made more of an effort to stress the deadline to people. My biggest concern is how the whole ifollow service will hold up under increased demand, haven't had much experience of it myself but its supposed to be a bit crap by all accounts under 'normal' demand. Not sure how well its all gonna go down if its continually buffering etc......
  24. The club tweeted a reminder yesterday and my initial thought was that I bet a lot of people miss the deadline. I haven't bothered reading much about the ifollow thing as I don't need it, so no idea how clear they made that part. I mean it makes sense to have that deadline so that everyone can have their account setup in time but still. I think they, quite wrongly, presume everyones in Twitter, Facebook and whatever else these days as they rely on it a lot.
