  1. Hedges has regressed and he was never great to start with. He did used to have a half decent shot on him, no idea what happened to that. He hasn't been helped by a dodgy injury record, but he's 30 next year so that's likely to get worse if anything. Can't fault his effort like, but we cam and should do better.
  2. Your team sacked him at the start of October, we're in the middle of December now, its not that similar. The position he has us in is a lot more impressive. Must be at least 10 games further in.
  3. Playing them twats always attracts more fans, playing them when we're performing well obviously attracts many more. Just glad it's on the Saturday as the following Monday will be a monumental struggle as it is without a super Sunday piss up 🤣
  4. Whilst I hope Gueye continues to improve and its good to see him at least contributing a bit, he's still very much a liability risk. His miss that people are claiming an assist for could have cost us the game the other day, likewise his stupid red against Burnley. He always seems to be at risk of a booking, pretty sure that was the case at his last team too. I could just imagine him in a play off final having a Gazza moment in the first minute and getting sent off for a horror tackle or diving to save a shot with his hand.
  5. We've won 4 of our last 5 games 1-0 They've lost their last 3 games 1-0 1-0 away win anyone? Won't be an easy game at all though, they'll be up for the fight, literally. At home they've already beaten Leeds and Burnley as well last month. We're going to lose at some point and I wonder how we'll react, obviously I'd rather not need to find out like... 1-0 away win, Gueye knocking it in with his schlong.
  6. If Rudy has contacts in Belgium then he should be on the blower to Sint-Truidense. Adriano Bertaccini looks a talent, caught my eye a few times now, 10 goals so far this season. There'd be a fee involved though so....
  7. Probably just gives him something to bicker about with you....I don't think anyone else bar Chaddy would be surprised if he gets the boot.
  8. Its classic Revidge and he'll try and pick up some weird fault from Tronstad all season now the stubborn old tit. Everyone else? Love him.
  9. In August I doubt anyone expected us to be going into this match as favourites, Luton widely tipped to go back up, good squad of players and an excellent manager. Likewise if you look at the odds on both teams getting promoted now, we're 9/1 and they're 100/1! They only lost a few players such as Barkley and Ogbene but signed a few too and the manager remains, so what's gone wrong? From an outsider looking in, I get the impression some of those players got a taste of the prem and can't really be arsed with the hassle of the championship now. A team of underperformers against a team who at present at least are overperforming. There still remains the danger that if they wanted to they could do some damage to most teams. An awful away record and they havent even scored a goal, in 4 of their 9 aways. But we also know over the years how often we like to flip the form book upside down on that front! Hopefully our previous outing at home carries forward into this one, easy to forget we failed to win in the 3 games prior now.... Everything points to a 2 nil home win, but things can quickly go tits up in this league, let's hope today and the remainder of the season is different......
  10. Not injured, pissed on his chips not playing for the u21’s and highly unlikely he’ll play again, allegedly or course
  11. Yeah I thought he'd whacked it with his hand, a free kick wasn't given though was it?
  12. I wasn't very confident pre match I must admit. Mainly because we just seem to struggle, badly on a Tuesday night away day. What transpired was exactly the performance we've been missing for years now! Grinding out a difficult win, every man knowing his role and executing it well. What a difference some experience makes too, again what we've been missing. Batth has really grown on me and Hyam too seems a different player with him in the trenches with him. We're still walking a bit of a tightrope when it comes to injuries and suspension, we can cope with the odd 1 here and there but really need to avoid any lengthy ones to key players. Of course the owners could help ease this strain, will they fuck though. Wtf was that non-penalty about? You don't really get much in the way of replays on ifollow but it looked absolutely nailed on? That said, we were due a dodgy decision against us, thankfully it didn't cost us.
  13. We're genuinely paying Gueye a wage to be a glorified cheerleader aren't we? 🤣 Fuck it, if we keep winning I'll let it slide.
  14. Reminds me of the other season when we played them and the new owner had just taken over, there was a bit of a buzz around and we rolled over for them, think it was the rearranged game after the boxing day shambles. Worried we're gonna see how important Travis has been too. Not particularly confident, but I'm happy to be proven wrong .
  15. Half the stuff he posts is absurd (RB)
  16. Leeds fans at work look forward to Rovers away more than most games, not far to go, loads of tickets and a day on the piss. It's also probably one of the only away games many will go to all season it's that hard for them to get tickets. Likewise United fans want us to go up too as its one of their favourite aways for the same reasons. There's never been mass disorder with them they just tried to take a few Xmas trees with them a few seasons back from the postal. They would have arrived early irrespective of KO times, it just means they might be marginally more sober than had it kicked off at 3, till after the game anyway.
  17. I wouldn’t put it past Waggott to try and promote the game tickets as Xmas presents, roll up, roll up.
  18. Leeds have looked good in large patches of games when I've seen then, a very different proposition to Sheff Utd in terms of playing style, but a tough test nonetheless. However, if we look at form they've only won 1 game in their last 5 away from home and that was a late late winner at Swansea in a cracking game. Worryingly we failed to score in our last 3 home games.... The ineffective Hedges needs dropping for me, we need all 11 players to make their mark. Beck or ACD could do a job I feel. 1-1 for me, Yuki to put us 1 up after 3 minutes, Leeds to equalise very late on after a resilient defence concede a penalty. As an aside I wonder if anyone will turn up thinking it's a half 12 kick off? Bit of a weird time ain't it.
  19. Great win, its weird how we always do well at the Riverside, I didn't go tonight but think we've won on all my previous visits even when playing poor. Got very lucky with the goal, slightly tarnishes it that it was offside but I'll take it. Following Cardiff and that goal plus a few moves tonight I think a few of the players are getting more on TC's wavelength. In the early days he was just playing with complete strangers, excited to see this develop further. Just a shame TC's goal was offside too, although Dolan taking 3 working days to play the ball didn't help.... Boro were really poor, although their missing players will no doubt have been a factor. Leeds will offer way more going forward. Still, defend like we did tonight and you never know. JE may well be getting ideas about a little link up on that left side having Pickering AND Beck on the pitch, it might just work too....
  20. Think I’ve been suffering from some kind of burnout from Rovers, so for the first time in as long as I can remember I didn’t even watch us today. Looks like the dropped a bollock. If someone would have predicted a 3-1 away win today I’d have told them to put the crack pipe down. Cardiff in great form at home and us distinctly lacklustre in front of goal. Some really good goals after watching the highlights, reminiscent of the Derby away goal a good few seasons back, was it Marvin Emnes who has the finishing touch I can’t remember, I’d certainly had a few that day Literally the last thing we needed now was an international break……
  21. Rumours that Sigurdsson refused to play for the U21s last game so it seems his time here is up. Pathetic attitude, with 6 months left on his contract in Jan I doubt we'll get much of a fee though, and that will probably be our budget, minus a cut for the twats in Pune.
  22. Surprised Sky had any interest in this one, as a chap who likes a flutter I keep an eye on the both teams to score markets, 9 out of Sheff Utd's last 10 games, both teams have failed to score. I haven't watched loads of them this season but it points towards a relatively dull game, just need to make sure it's us that score, and Pears doesn't backheel one into his own net. As an aside, the standard so far in the championship this season seems to be the poorest it's been in many years. Watched Luton/WBA and despite 2 good goals it was pretty dire. Burnley have been absolutely shite this season yet look where they are in the league, I mean we too have been poor a lot of the time and same applies. Frightening to think 3 of these teams are going to be playing in the top flight next season 🤯
  23. Whilst people are flapping about goals, or lack of - the blades have scored 2 less than us this season and we've only scored 1 less than the twats in second. 1 nil home win, Travis
  24. It was a blatant handball from a player with arms up like a fairy
