  1. How many flops has Mowbray actually signed? Caddis Gladwin Maybe Bell up until he rolled his sleeves up and played a blinder yesterday. Chapman I really dunno about, he was class when here first time around but God knows what's going on with him now. I get people will say Brereton but until he plays regularly as a striker it's unfair. Apart from that he hasn't done too bad has he?
  2. I'd say 5 signings and we'd be able to compete, and that would be doable with the cash injection. Theres no massive gulf between the championship and bottom half of the premiership I don't think, I've seen some really poor teams this season. We are however still walking an injury tightrope this season massively. Both centre halves have previous for picking up injuries and if either, or God forbid both got injured we'd have big problems again. Every other position I think we can cope to be fair.
  3. Wigan haven't won away all season, although we do have a habit of ending runs like that I honestly can't see anything other than an emphatic home win.
  4. Cool Or just admit you fucked up and didnt know it was a bank holiday, take your pick
  5. That anyone with a decent job doesn't need to book ot off
  6. And tbf the gaffer gets credit for it, if you get your chance, grasp it, and fair to say they did
  7. Probably never said this before but Hold your breath Wait a bit more Motm was amari bell
  8. Can't remember feeling this kinda buzz for a long long time about the rovers. Tinker man 1, everyone else 0 I did say the changes would be enforced but we looked fit as fiddles today and competed none stop. God help Wigan, they're getting absolutely panned.
  9. I get why he won it, Leeds have been great. BUT our Tony for me is manager on the month hands down. As I type this, Leeds conceded too the shithawks
  10. Not wishing to jinx things but fair play Bell today, looked decent
  11. Well it's not really is its we folded before half time last season
  12. I don't completely dislike it. Players were blowing last game and blatantly we needed a few changes. Maybe a few too many but hey ho. I'm the most publicised Brereton fan but hes wasted out wide if that's how we line up.
  13. Unfortunately I think the changes will be enforced really. This game is a bit of a pest, we need to get it out the way and then rest up. Holtby should be given time to shine and I honestly can see him playing Bell today.
  14. Good point all being told. It's a tough tough league and we ain't gonna win every game, or indeed play well every game. Picking up points when off the boil helps though. WBA scraped a win at woeful Wigan, Bristol City got beat off Milwall, Fulham off them clowns down the road. One last push on Saturday then a good few days off to recharge the old batteries, its come at a good time really.
  15. Quite surprised, but happy at the team news, especially after we took an extended squad down. In fairness I wouldn't have been completely against a few changes tonight. If they're staying down there till the weekend a bit of light training tomorrow and match prep on Friday shouldn't be too strenuous!
  16. Swansea fans seem to be split over Cooper in almost the same way this board is over Mowbray (4 games ago at least). Graham is due a goal, what better place than his old club. A nice 1 nil win would do me......
  17. True That's only their second home loss of the season too. They've just drawn far too many games, although I'd probably take a draw on Saturday there.....
  18. Bristol 2 down now to Millwall. If we get a result tomorrow we have nothing to fear..
  19. It was abandoned in Spain etc far before it was here, we were very late to the party. It's pretty much impossible to play 4-4-2 anymore because of how other teams set up, you'd just get overrun in midfield. Ironically we do have a few players far more suited to a 4-4-2, namely Gallagher and Chapman.
  20. Just catching up on the highlights of the rest of yesterday's games and noticed Wigan shipped yet another late goal with Charlie at the heart of the defence.... I like the guy but I felt a lot more confident we'd see the game out yesterday than I used to.
  21. They were awful to be fair, I'd go as far as to say the worst team we've had at Ewood all season. Not sure what the granny shagger is going to do to change that but we'll see.
  22. Whilst he does deserve some credit, hes literally only done what we as fans have been crying out for to be fair! Alas we were right. The main reason for people wanting him out was his needless tinkering and playing players out of position. Alright some people may also question his transfer activities but he's also signed a few belters along the way.
