  1. Bolton's defending at weekend was comical. Stanley on the other hand barely registered a shot on target. They seem to have signed national league players are are heading there themselves. Their clown of an owner will be due a pissed up twitter meltdown
  2. European leagues are awash with Japanese talent at the moment there's some fantastic players, Belgium especially is experiencing a bit of a takeover. Bodes well for their national team too although How's Yuki never been involved? Late bloomer I guess.
  3. How cringey was the whole thing? Sky frothing over Beckham being there, panning to the owners and him every 5 mins? 🤮 Football wise, after a shaky start and falling behind Brum strolled past them, barring an injury crisis they'll piss the league (as they should given what they've spent).
  4. Usually see them spouting off for weeks before on social media about bEaTiNg ThE pLaStIcS but I haven't seen a thing this time, yet. Suggests they're somewhat worried.
  5. Same team for me. Prestons defence looks sluggish and we can cause them some real issues. Cozier-Duberry will give them nightmares I imagine so hopefully some minutes for him too.
  6. Can’t remember feeling this way about a new player for a long time, what’s not to like about Yuki? Absolute legend in the making at this rate. For clarity, I don’t want to bum him but he’s a cracking player and seems to be loving it here.
  7. Guessing none of the newer recruits can play against Lyon tomorrow? Annoyingly if we'd been in the league cup still we'd have been able to give a few a run out then as well.
  8. Can't be many people who enjoy these international breaks 😮‍💨 Bit depressing it's only a month till the next one, then there's one the month after too. Pointless shite.
  9. Mafoumbi aside, no
  10. Honestly can't remember the last time we had so many selection dilemmas, this is weird! Especially after the new boys have had some time integrating with the squad. Last time we played them we'd just pasted Sunderland and had a respectable draw V Southampton, then got absolutely spanked. Probably our worst game to date under Eustace. It won't be as easy as it should be going off form. 2-1 home win, Andi and Ohashi
  11. Seeing loads of them coming up with the excuse they had too many new players that needed to 'bed in'. One thing I can absolutely guarantee is them twats up the road will be nowhere near getting promoted averaging 1 shot on target a game, in fact I'm willing to bet we finish above them. For clarity I don't think we'll be anywhere near getting promoted either mind.
  12. I thought Trav was outstanding yesterday, a real derby day performance and man of the match for me. I'm afraid JDT messed up massively with his little fall out with him, Eustace is already coming across as a far better man manager.
  13. Totally agree, he's won me over. He got what yesterday was all about and compared to that absolute shit show JDT served up last time, executed the plan to perfection despite the twat of a ref.
  14. The ref was diabolical. Can't even say he was influenced by a hostile home crowd either, pathetic home support, they had a little 5 mins after they scored but that was it.
  15. Not sure they were being entirely serious.... Toth will be unveiled around 9am I reckon, they'll just need to polish up the video for twitter as it was getting late last night.
  16. Busy day planned at Brockhall tomorrow it seems 📸 all academy football cancelled
  17. If Cantwell did want a move south of the border, his agent conjuring up a move to us at a bargain price is the absolute dream way to attract attention from elsewhere. Everyone knows how incompetent we are at getting deals over the line and would know they can pip us to his signature, if they wanted to of course. King rat Suhail will be sweating on any potential deal affecting his bonus, he’s not going to want to sell it to the twats in Pune is he.
  18. No I know, it would never happen anyway I’d just love to see the reaction. A good manager can overcome laziness and bad attitudes as well, done it countless times in my own managerial career 😉
  19. I agree, people are getting carried away. They're still favourites with the bookies by some distance, for a reason. A few weeks ago they thought they just needed to turn up to win though, it's nice for them to be feeling the pressure a bit more. The owners of both clubs can also influence the general mood in the final 2 days of the transfer window as well. Ours have previous for completely fucking things up as we know, another disaster would make us very despondent on Saturday. Likewise if Pace keeps flogging everyone they're the same, although I do expect them to make a few decent signings....
  20. As there seems to be complete and utter turmoil down the road, could we not put together a ridiculous loan offer for Manuel Benson? They seem to be accepting all offers at present and have confirmed he will leave in some way, shape or form 🤷‍♂️ I know it's not gonna happen but it would send them into THE biggest meltdown known to man and you'd have to fear for the safety of Pace's wife 🤣
  21. It's basic merchandising. I've worked in supply chain for many years and if the stock isn't available during peak trade periods serious questions are asked, ultimately heads roll. Merchandising clothing is pretty easy too, we have 2 main sales windows to capture as many as possible- A- when it first goes on sale before the season/before folk go on holiday. B- as Matty mentions, the festive period for gifting. If we have some left over so what? They'd easily sell at a discount which is better than having lost sales. All the kids at my daughters football training wear replica tops to train in, if we're getting rid of old stock at a tenner a pop I'd buy multiple.
  22. Nixons wording says we're prepared to buy him, but have offered a loan deal as well. Then goes on to mention him being on a decent salary which as always would be a problem for us. I can see other teams waiting in the wings for when we fail to sign him.
  23. Looked to just be baby sizes available when I was in there yesterday. Annoying as wanted one for my daughter who's 4, neither away or 3rd had any stock in infant sizes. I think November is the next drop of stock, by which time people aren't really wearing short sleeves.....
  24. Nathan 🦜 Jones reckoning talks between Park and Cantwell are at an advanced stage. So I can only assume Nixon has tweeted words to that effect......
