It's probably Grahams last season as the main striker I would have thought, factor in he is gonna pick up some knocks inevitably this season too so will definitely need cover. Either Gally or Brereton you'd imagine is being lined up to step into his shoes.
-
Barca landing Griezmann has probably forced us to call Gally in for a medical as Atletico would have been sniffing round him as a replacement
-
So basically trying to emulate Wolves success with the Portugese lot? For what it's worth the Primeira league is pretty damn awful too bar the top few teams and diving is ridiculous.

I think you need to read the post properly first of all. I said we don't NEED Gallagher, I didn't say we don't need a striker. We play with 1 striker up top, anyone we bring in is gonna be playing second fiddle to Graham, this season at least. Graham isn't knackered at all, in fact he looks in tip top shape. Its debatable how much more Gallagher offers than all the other crop of strikers to be quite honest too. If bringing him in a) cuts into our budget set aside for a gk/defender b)limits Breretons game time (or even Chapmans if he plays him on the pissing wing) then it's bad business. As I originally stated, leave it till we sort the major priorities I.e keeper and defence then pick up a bargain striker or a loan if need be.
-
The Gallagher transfer can wait till the last day of the window for me, if at all. We don't NEED him, although he'd be decent backup. Just sort the defence and keeper situation then leave the 'nice to have' transfers till later when prices and demands drop. If we miss out on him so be it.
-
From what I gather he's been unlucky with injuries which may explain why he's a late starter in terms of securing a decent move. OR We may have signed a crock, but I'm thinking positive.
-
Oh aye theres no doubt he's had a decent career, it's gone backwards massively though from the euros onwards. Torino, West Ham and that lot down the road shipped goals for fun with him between the pegs.
-
I'm massively against Hart. Not worried one bit about signing an older more experienced keeper but the main criteria for me is someone, finally who can organise a defence and command the box. That person is most definitely not Hart, he was so bad at it last season he would have took Burnley down had he continued to play.

The Leeds game is at the business end of the season and could well be an important one, it's almost certain to be on Sky too, because its Leeds. IF we needed something out the game surely there's be a re-think over the prices.
-
He's a bit of a nob by all accounts and one to avoid IMO. Believe he's had a few scrapes with the law and likes the booze a bit too much.
-
I think its another one that will be left as late as a possible to get the price down. I'd personally rather play Ben but let's see how it pans out.
-
Dann would be a brilliant signing I reckon, can't see it happening mind. There must be a keeper and centre half package out there that we can snap up.
-
We should have scored a few second half, granted they made us look amateur first half
-
Maybe not quite play offs then but a few points off, you get the jist, we were racking up points
-
If you're so into 'checking back' we lost 1 game to Norwich from April onwards and we probably should have had a point there in all fairness. If last season had carried on another month we'd probably have been in the play offs.
-
He's ill isn't he?
-
Can't see it at all. I'd be ecstatic though.
-
He's on trial A normal thing in a friendly, usually listed as triallists on the team sheet but that'd be pointless when everyone knows who he is

Meltdowns incoming........ ?

The post, if you care to read it refers to the SQUAD. Which in my opinion, and many others is not weaker than last season (pre losing Raya when the post was made, but we can't magic a keeper up within the space of an hour of him leaving). We should also be comparing like for like on the 3rd of August too not now.
-
How anyone can say its weaker is beyond me when we've only lost Downing really, yes that colossus of a BRFCS myth who's ended up in league one, again. With regards to Rodwell, I'm guessing they've had a chat and getting him tied down isn't (and rightly so) a priority. The player probably wants to weigh up his options and see if anyone makes him an offer, and Mowbray will see who else he manages to bring in. If in a few weeks time Rodwell is still looking for a deal we should be able to get him that bit cheaper, if he goes elsewhere so be it.
-
Yes, our current squad is better than last seasons. That's not false, it's my opinion and I know for a fact I'm not alone in having it. Who's the usual crew? People who don't whine constantly you mean?
-
I'll name you half a dozen? I don't even particularly want Raya to leave to be honest but to say he's the best keeper in the league os just nonsense
