1-0 win here I think They're going for their 3rd clean sheet in a row but we've only failed to bag twice away all season. Not expecting much in the way of entertainment mind.

The only valid point you make is that yes the transfer window should be scrapped. If players aren't available they aren't available and 9 times out of 10 if you ARE available in January there's one reason, you're shite. I'm glad we didn't panic buy and cut into our summer budget to be honest As for the unfit crock, its not hard to build fitness through intense training. Sadly you are injury prone when you're a pacey winger people were whining on about -

They're a massive, massive 3 points clear of the relegation zone after failing to qualify for the Europa league. We're not in a better place financially but if our board refused to spend like theirs does there'd also be mass cry baby attitudes on here. -

What fighting relegation with a decrepit stadium is what we're aiming for? -

A lost argument? I'm asking your opinion and you seem incapable of answering. January is not the time to make decent signings, most of Europe has shut up shop for the winter break prior to the window anyway. -

Regardless of that who can YOU name? At least people have stopped harping on about a pacey frigging winger now. -

Its alright saying we need an experienced centre half, I think most people agreed, but who was actually available in Jan at a decent price fitting that criteria? I can't think of many. -

Imagine it we did somehow make the play offs though. Not sure my ticker could handle that, 11-9 on aggregate on something ridiculous like that -

In fairness, as frustrating as it is, it does happen a lot in this league. Look no further than the blades throwing a 3-0 lead away last night with 10 mins remaining. The quality of attackers in the top half of the league especially is far better than the quality of defenders. End result usually being entertainment and battered fingernails! -

It's mad the different vibes last weeks game has created on here, although understandable given the collapse. Let's not forget we've lost 2 all season at home though, 1-0 against my pick for the champions and the other against a strong promotion candidate. City have lost 4 away..... Yes they're a form team, but so were Hull and look what happened that day. I think we'll do them 2-1. This weather is going to make the conditions very tough unless it dies down, certainly not a day for hoof ball! -
Bad second half, really bad. But. We need to put it in context. This league is absolutely bonkers. Previously top Leeds were absolutely destroyed by Norwich last night, who squeezed past us 1-0. 100% confident we'll do them farmers over next week.

Only Reading, Bolton and Ipswich have worse home records than Bristol too (ours is 4th best). Time to start picking up them away wins for us.....
-
Hamstring. He's back in training and will be available next week

Looking like pretty much a sell out in the away end. Bit gutted I can't make it as its one of my favourite aways too, always a grand day out. The game should be a good un too, win this and we really do mean business.

What inspires people to blatantly make up transfer rumours? ? Janssen my arse

In fairness we're what 8th highest scorers in the league? Plus we've added chappers albeit an unfit chappers. Nuttall showing early signs, I know there's some way to go with Brereton but I'm certainly not writing him off yet. How far off is Samuel now? Goal scoring hasn't really been a major issue this season especially when Dack and Armo are firing too. Early indications suggest the defence is improving majorly so that'll help too. Certainly not doom at gloom at my end.
-
In such a niche betting market it only takes 1-2 bets to make odds drift or come in. I wouldn't read anything into that.
-
Despite his age, Crouch nearly transformed the game against us at their gaff, caused mad panic amongst the defence and they pumped balls up to him. Perfect for the Dyche criteria, albeit up against better defenders in the prem.
-
Not sure about Gallagher. He'd be going from being a bench warmer in the prem to bench warmer in the Championship. Unless we're planning a switch in formation or DG has an underlying injury we're not fully aware of (I don't buy into the fact he's a bit older and might need rest, I can still train 5 days a week at 37!). He doesn't really seem to have benefitted much from his last loan spells. Good option to have bringing him and Chappers on last 20-30 mins in games but you could argue Nuttall already provides that and we shouldn't be hampering his progress. Not totally against it, just not blown away with excitement.

Another thread just descending into petty sniping at Brereton by pillocks with no idea on the finer details of the deal. Hell fire turn it in ffs or take it to the Brereton thread itself.
-
Skysports lost any credibility years ago tbh, they usually just pick up on tit bits on forums, twitter and newspapers.
-
Hell fire its a Sun story, which in all honesty makes it less likely than if we hadn't been linked at all. Burnley are allegedly in for Austin too. It would be absolutely hilarious if we got him, but I can't see anything whatsoever in that story.
-
In theory we'd have the personnel to play 4-4-2 with devastating effect with Chappers and BA on board. Wouldn't really suit Dack though and can't see him being frozen out.
