  1. Not sure why there's negativity about loan deals. There's so much strength in depth across most prem squads the youngsters really are up against it trying to make the breakthrough. Even teams like Everton now have quality in most positions. I do however think we'll land a couple of permanent moves tomorrow, quite possibly players that haven't really been discussed on here....
  2. 1-0 Rovers, Palmer to come off the bench last 20 and slot one in. I hope he does get a run out, despite not being match fit he should be more than capable of half an hours football
  3. Interesting one by Villa that, Luke adorned by casuals for years now dipping their toe in kit manufacturing - it works.
  4. Palmer needs to get on the blower and convince Tammy Abraham to come in on loan. Well we can dream.............. ?
  5. Otzumer was poor in both games against us to be honest, don't get the hype at all
  6. That's actually decent King Kenny is magic still gets sung at away days usually on a train home absolutely bladdered
  7. Actually really difficult to pick someone this year for once, so than in itself is a good sign. Dack is the obvious one, Graham and Mulgrew too. Benno has completely won me over and its impossible not to like the guy. Finally I think Raya can't be overlooked either because some of his outstanding saves have racked up points for us too. If I had to pick one it'd have to be Dack.
  8. Actually astounded when people say we're not good enough to win this league. We're not amazing all the time no, but we're a damn sight better than 95% of this league!
  9. Great gesture killacam, big respect
  10. Hardly any taxi firms charge double over xmas/NYE round here any more, those that do have very few customers......
  11. I imagine Rochina and CKR could do the job perfectly well to be honest
  12. Contrary to some daft beliefs you don't have to be a massive unit to play as a lone striker anyway given the right support....
  13. Just what we need IMO, someone to get stuck in. We simply cannot go into a championship season with a powder-puff midfield.
  14. It was hardly a secret he liked a good smoke. Recurring theme that some of our legends were heavy smokers, Garner & Newell to name a few. Gillespie also liked a tab, and rather a lot of ale and still ran like a whippet
  15. If he can't lose that in a week it's pathetic, I could lose 4/5 times that if required. Gotta question what the hell he is eating/drinking?
  16. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=294771062084&ref=nf&v=info This is the lad by the way, terrible shame.
  17. The whole reason it kicked off in the first place was because they shut the bar anyway.
  18. it's 100% true
  19. Being filmed isn't that annoying, it's when you start getting section 60'd every match that it starts really getting on your breasts.
  20. It was common knowledge weeks before the game that Burnley would be paying the Station a visit post match. Could easily have been dealt with before they even got close if their so called police intelligence was up to scratch.
  21. Quality album - sticks & stones is bloody brilliant. The Blueprint 3 is also a superb new album.
  22. Welled up a bit earlier when the geordies were singing robson wonderland during the minutes applause. What a legend, will be sorely missed. I had no idea he'd had the big C for that long.
  23. Has anyone chanced the 3rd installment of the butterfly effect? The 2nd was truly awful, but heard some good reviews about the new one. Got it at home so may give it a whirl tonight...
  24. Bronson is out on Friday, looking forward to it. I watched Green Street 2 last night. Wow. Possibly the worst attempt at a film I have ever seen! Everything about it is just so far fetched and ridiculous. It culminates in 2 groups of prisoners having to win a game of football to get released from the prison, which by the way looks nothing like an English prison and its red hot sunshine every day wherever it is. It comes as no surprise that its directed by Yank women who've done little or no research! It's worth watching purely for the comedy value of it to be honest...
  25. Just watched Gran Torino, Superb. Eastwood at his absolute best, a must watch!
