All the things you seem to know about Mark Hughes are being contradicted by someone who actually plays for him. from teamtalk: Aston Villa defender Mark Delaney has pleaded with Mark Hughes to remain as Wales manager and resist any approach by Blackburn. Delaney is hoping the challenge of leading Wales to their first tournament since 1958 will persuade his international boss to snub the chance to move into club management. He told the club's official website: "I think everybody that saw the vacancy automatically thought of Mark because he'd been there as a player and because of the job he's done for Wales. But it's encouraging to see he wants to fulfil his ambitions with Wales. "It's not a surprise to see him linked with these jobs. What he's done for Welsh football has been nothing short of dramatic. We were down and pretty much out and he's turned it round full circle. "Now we're a nation to be reckoned with home and away, so what he's done with limited resources is remarkable. EXACTLY, well said that man! And lets be honest most decent managers were also decent players in their time. Hughes has worked under some of the best managers around throughout his career, I'd like to think he's picked up on a few of their good points along the way.

I currently stand to win about £20 if Hughes is the new manager, about £100 if it's either Strachan or Dowie, about £150 if its Moyes, and about a grand if it's Martin O'Neill (£2 at odds of 580 on betfair)! How the hell would he know? Is John Williams coaching the youth teams now? I'm sure most of us have 'sources' within the club and it's easy to find out a lot of stuff, i.e details on the new kit in the summer for example but I think it's safe to say no-one apart from the board have any idea as to who will be our next manager. With all the 'insider info' you spout on here you're bound to get one right eventually through the laws of averages alone but stop posting drivel to try and look ITK, it doesn't work

Other clubs have lower wage bills, bigger stadiums and more supporters. We are an ambitious club, with ambitious supporters. We dont just want to 'get by'! Do they? You've seen our latest wage bill then have you? We've slashed our wage bill this summer as you well know. We have a 30k stadium, thats easily enough to maintain a good squad of premiership players (Williams himself has said this). The trouble is our 'fans' don't have the desire to fill that stadium and now you think we should increase ticket prices? The mind boggles! Ambitious supporters? Replace ambitious with 'unrealistic'. For all the good the Jack Walker era did it unfortunately bred a lot of clueless, ungrateful fans. He wanted the club to stand on its own feet, all the foundations are clearly there already.............

You can't do that!!!!! We won't change the prices for our tickets either so it's just a stupid proposal. We've been spoon-fed for years now and it's time this club stood on its own 2 feet. Other clubs manage to get by without a cash injection from outside sources, so should we.

Isn't there a ruling against doing that? I know it's been mentioned on here before. If we charge away fans more for sitting in the Darwen end then sitting in the Blackburn end would have to cost the same.
