  1. I noticed that, such a deceiving stat. Many die hards will have rushed to get them as they've been waiting so pissing long. Still, Swag will have been straight on the blower reporting this 'stat' back to the wankers in Pune.
  2. Might as well close the thread then, Chaddy has renewed and it was easy. Nothing else to discuss here 👍
  3. Won't happen regardless, he'll end up at a relegation rival and keep them up no doubt
  4. If we're looking at experienced freebies I'd take Jay Rod from them up the road as he's being released. He 100% offers a lot more than Gallagher and would probably accept similar/lower wages too. I know some would say eww no he's a dingle bit ultimately he'd simply offer more than we have currently
  5. The only sense in any deal for Fleck would be appearance based. A fully fit Fleck would be an asset, but if he does sign I'd be amazed if he's in a position to feature much. Of course we won't look at anything like that, we'll pay him top whack to sit in the treatment room whilst moaning we've no money to cover wages of potential new signings.
  6. The survey is quite good in fairness, but it's pointless if we don't see any actions on the back of it. However, there's literally no reference anywhere in it relating to ticket pricing. Whilst it's not strictly matchday experience, it should have something in there asking what factors influence an individuals decision whether or not to attend. Deep down they obviously already know its a factor, but it's clearly being ignored, as per.
  7. Would Bolton be averaging over 20k if they weren't winning games most weeks and in the promotion mix though? You've got to have something appealing about the product on the pitch as well, at Ewood there's barely anything to entice people apart from obviously bigger games such as Newcastle in the cup. Oddly I work in Bolton and although I'm only in the office 2 days a week there's not a single Bolton fan there that I'm aware of. Mainly United, City and a few ex Bury fans.
  8. The prices will almost certainly come out on Monday/Tuesday next week I would say. See if Bolton get promoted then they can give the tickets the hard sell focusing on the 3 huge Lancashire derbies included in the package. The fat prick will be praying they come up too as Oxford wouldn't exactly bring big numbers. On a similar note he'll not be happy if Leeds win in the final either, playing well tonight... Also means the 1875 club will attract folk who can't be arsed clamouring for tickets for the few away games likely to sell out.
  9. Jesus, are we really going through this mythical pacey winger rigmarole again 🤣🤣🤣 Every season, without fail.
  10. He genuinely turned on us after he got called out multiple times on here. Also the fact nobody bought any handbags from his daughters business, 100% true story and I'm surely not the only one on here who remembers it.
  11. Sympathetic Claret has gone quiet too. Meanwhile Swag is dusting off his 1875 club proposition. Sadly I will probably end up getting it too because I can't be arsed with the rigmarole of getting a ticket without last time round 🥲
  12. As someone who's sacked a fair few in my time, that's not strictly true and entirely dependent on the policies in place. Its normal for an investigation to take place in many circumstances and what follows next would typically be a case to answer meeting, which means the investigation has taken place and there's clear evidence of wrongdoing. The accused is given a chance to present their argument and a decision then made, usually from the highest level, especially for someone in a position like Silvester. He wasn't a minimum wage warehouse worker who'd called his boss a cunt 🤣 That all being said, I'd be surprised if our club has a watertight HR policy, but you never know.
  13. Gregg departing won't come as a surprise to anyone really. Nobody stays behind scenes for long apart from the small circle of 'untouchables' who do nothing to benefit club.
  14. Great offering from Huddersfield. Granted they're in the league below now but I bet they shift decent numbers and their fans will probably enjoy the season too as they should be up there winning games. .
  15. Well in fairness he does have a relevant CV for getting transfers over the line. However. Under this regime its more than likely just a smoke and mirrors job, apart from of course to Chaddy as always.
  16. I agree he looks better there. Chrisene will be a premier league player in a season or 2 though.
  17. You saw nothing in Ayari? He will go somewhere next season and do a job, if he plays. Much like Moran. Agree on Chrisene I really liked the look of him, better than Pickering IMO
  18. They wanted to take Hyam in case he was needed, he wasn't allowed to travel on the team coach though, that would have been stupidity infecting everyone. He's not had the best season but he didn't cry off like a mard arse today.
  19. Against Brentford? Ultimately it was too little, too late, but they got the win. I don't wanna be that guy, but history could repeat itself today with another goal difference relegation now ours is the same as Brums 😟
  20. Usually in a situation like this you should really just focus on your own result, but if we stay up its obviously more than likely down to other results. You really have to worry about next season should we be in the championship, I really wish finances weren't so important because a league 1 season would no doubt be more enjoyable! Win, lose, draw, survive, relegated - we'll all still be on here next season. We really are overdue a turn in fortunes and some enjoyment again, ultimately we all know the key to that is them twats selling up. It's important to remember, they simply will not be here forever. Results wise I wouldn't even guess how it may go. Brum certainly have previous in this kind of scenario and they always seem to come out on top! Sheff Weds have showed some real solidarity, most people had wrote them off not long ago. Plymouth seem to pluck good results out amongst more bad ones, I.e beating our opponents today! Hull really have to perform, you'd expect them to but it's the championship after all. Lastly, it should ultimately be the 3 worst teams in the league that go down. Given our results against the teams around us, are we really not falling into that bracket? 🥲
  21. Just another thing to flag up at the moment, how much our attraction to loanees must have gone down the pan. We've had some brilliant players last few seasons, lots of game time, making us an attractive proposition. This season however, wtf is going on seriously. I think Chrisene is better than Pickering and Ayari offers promise too. The lad from Liverpool went from looking like a mad man to quality vs Newcastle in the space of 10 mins. Not a single one of these have benefited from their loan, ditto Moran. We're easily bottom of any lists for loans now too, especially when you factor in we're either a league 1 team or relegation plodders in the championship next season
  22. Bradley Dack would do absolutely nothing to lift me, odd suggestion 🤣
  23. Would be a very Rovers thing to do, to go down on GD here. The shit show at Bristol that wiped out the Sunderland game may well come home to roost 🤮
  24. Wonder if they'll do a 'lap of honour' today? Suppose it'll depend on the result. Effectively should really just be Szmodics and Tronstad anyway really taking part 🤔
