I doubt he was anyones first choice but then again if we'd just poached him from Barnsley a few years ago people would have been over the moon. Strange how he's faltered a bit since. I've got no idea. My personal view is that Duff would be Waggotts choice, the other linked choices absolutely stink of being Rudy picks. We could see a bit of a power struggle and I get the impression Rudy has been getting his way on most things. Which when you factor in he's relatively new to this type of role, is a bit embarrassing for the old timers.

Boateng’s only real link to the club is he’s worked here previously. No idea where Boa Morte has come from, presumably his agent? Both make zero sense unless they’re great mates with Rudy or something, which I also doubt. A couple with obvious rovers links then the rest just managers that have appeared in the betting for the last few vacancies at other teams. In short I wouldn’t read anything at all into these odds.
