  1. There'd be no shortage of applicants. When Eustace leaves he's not going to rip into the owners is he? He'll say he wanted to be nearer to his family to keep up the nice guy persona .
  2. Even if the owners would engage with Eustace, which I highly fucking doubt, would you believe a word that came out of their stinking mouths? He's gone.
  3. May as well start the new manager thread at this point, if Derby are willing to pay, the rats will take it and pocket the cash and it looks like that's all that needs agreeing at this point. Anything or anyone is fair game to them to make a few extra quid. The slide down the table will continue and the gates will continue to tumble as another season goes down the pan.
  4. I mean they signed Langas for about 4m in the window along with a striker and a few more, it's more than we fucking spent!
  5. Last 5 or so we're averaging 2 goals a game conceded, we were fortunate not to concede 2 against Preston as well. We're really creaking without Tronstad I feel, when is he due back again? 😵 I mean it isn't unexpected, but it's really hitting us hard now. Whilst it's great to have Trav back, he doesn't look anywhere near as effective either without his partner alongside him. We seemed to be playing without a midfield last night. Very disappointing Kargbo got so little game time but sure JE had his reasons, give the boy a start on Sunday though. The midweek away day blues continue, but I don't think it comes as a major surprise. Looking forward to a break from the league and integrating the new lads now before WBA, you just know the stage is set for Tony and Adam to do us over there.
  6. Not quite Boro levels but we have a decent record against the R's so they're probably not looking forward to playing us. That said, do we ever play well on a Tuesday night? A numerous of teams around us play in the league at weekend so we could slip a few places here if we lose. They've only failed to score twice in 15 at home, a clean sheet is gonna be very hard work, I'm going for a 2-1 away win with Hyam and another Cantwell penalty for the goals.
  7. Impressive, he's never played for Wolves 🤔
  8. Why does it say on the website Dennis is still subject to approval from the relevant football authorities? Woodrows doesn't.....presumably something to do with the salary structure or the fact it was last, last minute? There's still a chance we can fuck it up right? On the face of it an OK window. At 27 this is a career defining move for Dennis. Question marks over his fitness of course, if we'd signed him at the start of the window he'd probably be fully fit by now too 🙄 Woodrow I'm not sure on at all tbh, Luton fans aren't very complimentary at all. Still he may read those comments and think you know what I'll show the fuckers. Forshaw seemed a poor signing and still does, haven't even seen a glimmer to suggest he can help us. Sanderson is an extra body in, looked OK on his debut I suppose. Kargbo I'm intrigued to see play, potentially an exciting signing, guessing he's pretty much match fit too so can get involved pretty quickly. Ribeiro was a tidy player at Forest and gives us an option to push Beck forward too, quite happy with him.
  9. Things that will definitely happen today: 1. Rudy and Swag will have prem teams on speed dial asking for any kids on loan, doesn't matter their position or ability 2. Nixon will drop numerous 'work to be done and 'its possible but Blackburn need to up their offer' type teasers to give people hope 3. Chaddy will tell people to wait till the window closes 4. Pacy winger will get mentioned up to 12 times, maybe more 5. Hilarious Luca Toni jokes on here 6. Every target mentioned this window will end up elsewhere 7. Elliott Jackson will pretend to have a clue what's going on 8. Bitter disappointment 9. Venkys will still be a shower of twats
  10. Mafoumbi was injured for a while wasn't he? He scored a few weeks ago when back playing, was described as a wonder goal (which was a bit far fetched after watching it).
  11. Despite that they've way outspent us in the transfer window....
  12. There was a lot of excitement about ACD too but whilst he's shown some class at times, he's not exactly been a roaring success.
  13. So soon? How much rest do you think a professional athlete needs? If we were playing today and Tuesday fair enough that would be tough, but we aren't....
  14. Not really. This is a transfer topic, about transfers. A players decision in a previous match isn't an ongoing issue. What's it raising awareness of?
  15. There was absolutely zero intent from Mak it just summed up his gangly, sometimes clumsy way of playing, but some refs would definitely have given a penalty. Had we not been given a penalty I don't think it would have been so much of a talking point though.
  16. He does offer really good defensive cover to be fair, ultimately that should be a secondary quality of his though as an attacking player...
  17. Sky actually commented on how the owners needed to back Eustace and panned to Waggott and Suhail (surprised they even knew who they were), most unlike them to have a clue what's going on at Ewood....
  18. He was garbage, nobenders seemed baffled he was starting over the biting prick who was supposedly 'ill', I think he was left out for a reason knowing he's unstable and the likes of Trav would have been out to wind him up though after his antics last time.
  19. Whilst I agree Buckley has looked better the last few, he needs to stop getting the ridiculous schoolboy bookings. He's so petulant and childish at times. That little trip last night completely unnecessary when their man was going straight into Travis' challenge anyway. He's now on 4 bookings which is the same as Tronstad has had all season, given the minutes played it says a lot. Don't get me wrong I want my players to get stuck in, but they're always stupid fouls that mean you need to be careful for the rest of the game, it's just immature.
  20. Beck missed the chance of the game too though don't forget
  21. We'd have lost that game had Travis not started, as soon as he went off the game changed. In fact all the subs were poor/ineffective tonight which is strange as they've quite often changed games in a positive manner this season. I don't think anyone had a poor game tonight, Hedges was a bit ineffective, Dolan a bit wasteful but they both made some positive contributions too tbf. Quite ironic them twats crying about the referee after that biting tosser at their place, karma at its very finest 🤗
  22. They'd clearly seen how pissed off fans were getting and Waggott feared a bit of stick tonight, deflection tactic was unveiling a new player pre game.
  23. The fact that it's taken a month to get Kargbo even in the country (I think? No sightings of him up to now) kind of confirms he was far from our number 1 target. I do quite like the look of him mind, although I am falling into the trap of youtube clips admittedly. Problem is, looking at the quoted fees mentioned, to most clubs its a low cost risk, to the wankers in charge of the purse strings it's probably our entire budget, or 90% of it 🤔
