  1. There was a lot of excitement about ACD too but whilst he's shown some class at times, he's not exactly been a roaring success.
  2. So soon? How much rest do you think a professional athlete needs? If we were playing today and Tuesday fair enough that would be tough, but we aren't....
  3. Come off it we played on Friday bloody night
  4. Not really. This is a transfer topic, about transfers. A players decision in a previous match isn't an ongoing issue. What's it raising awareness of?
  5. There was absolutely zero intent from Mak it just summed up his gangly, sometimes clumsy way of playing, but some refs would definitely have given a penalty. Had we not been given a penalty I don't think it would have been so much of a talking point though.
  6. He does offer really good defensive cover to be fair, ultimately that should be a secondary quality of his though as an attacking player...
  7. Sky actually commented on how the owners needed to back Eustace and panned to Waggott and Suhail (surprised they even knew who they were), most unlike them to have a clue what's going on at Ewood....
  8. He was garbage, nobenders seemed baffled he was starting over the biting prick who was supposedly 'ill', I think he was left out for a reason knowing he's unstable and the likes of Trav would have been out to wind him up though after his antics last time.
  9. Whilst I agree Buckley has looked better the last few, he needs to stop getting the ridiculous schoolboy bookings. He's so petulant and childish at times. That little trip last night completely unnecessary when their man was going straight into Travis' challenge anyway. He's now on 4 bookings which is the same as Tronstad has had all season, given the minutes played it says a lot. Don't get me wrong I want my players to get stuck in, but they're always stupid fouls that mean you need to be careful for the rest of the game, it's just immature.
  10. Beck missed the chance of the game too though don't forget
  11. We'd have lost that game had Travis not started, as soon as he went off the game changed. In fact all the subs were poor/ineffective tonight which is strange as they've quite often changed games in a positive manner this season. I don't think anyone had a poor game tonight, Hedges was a bit ineffective, Dolan a bit wasteful but they both made some positive contributions too tbf. Quite ironic them twats crying about the referee after that biting tosser at their place, karma at its very finest 🤗
  12. They'd clearly seen how pissed off fans were getting and Waggott feared a bit of stick tonight, deflection tactic was unveiling a new player pre game.
  13. The fact that it's taken a month to get Kargbo even in the country (I think? No sightings of him up to now) kind of confirms he was far from our number 1 target. I do quite like the look of him mind, although I am falling into the trap of youtube clips admittedly. Problem is, looking at the quoted fees mentioned, to most clubs its a low cost risk, to the wankers in charge of the purse strings it's probably our entire budget, or 90% of it 🤔
  14. Its a knee injury rather than a strained muscle and sounds like a heavy tackle caused it, nowt much you can do about an injury like that, it's just rotten luck the poor bugger.
  15. Not sure if he was there but his name was being touted about at Brockhall. From the Plymouth side, he wasn't in training today apparently.
  16. I got told yesterday we're spending a few million, I'm afraid not on players though. Apparently the steel etc on the stadium requires some kind of fire treatment, I don't know the exact details but told it'll cos a few mil. If he hasn't used it already, that's Waggotts ready made excuse for the lack of transfer spend. I don't tend to read fans forums minutes etc so it may have already been mentioned.
  17. Yeah they need Doyle more than ever at the min. I think his agent was pushing for a move a few weeks back but it's unlikely now
  18. His sister said he'd had talks, make of that what you will like 🤣
  19. Been on the bench lately I think so on the comeback trail. Bit of an odd one, unless it's one that has been lined up for a while.
  20. Talk of another incoming player from Plymouth, this one's a lot better though IMO.
  21. Exactly. I think its now becoming glaringly obvious just how key he was, effectively a 5th defender, calm as you like breaking up attacks. A unique calibre of player and there's nobody else even remotely like him at the club.
  22. There's still time for him to leave this window, I have a sneaky suspicion he might too. How on earth can it take 12 months of contract discussions, I mean seriously, for an average championship player if they're genuine about signing one? If Swansea offer anything up to a million he's gone and the best you'll get in replacement is a loan. 2025 Blackburn Rovers......
  23. Kone only signed a new contract in November. Easy to forget that prior to signing for Wycombe he was playing in the Essex senior league, late bloomer or a flash in the pan, only time will tell....
  24. If its the same person i saw mention it, he never gets anything right on the transfer front, very odd man
