  1. Matt Clarke cost around 2.5m, we should be paying around the same. Coventry will end up accepting I think, no-mark owners will just see a few quid to pocket.
  2. Hyam looks a decent signing without being mind blowing, up for it. What does appeal is he's played pretty much all their games for the past few seasons so he should at least be reliable!
  3. Think its clear we're waiting on Van Den Berg to be honest. Philips is effectively plugging a gap till Wharton is fit anyway, then there's also Carter although the BRFCS mafia will label him as shite no doubt. If Van Den Berg doesn't come after all this waiting though we've got a big problem. Had an interesting talk to someone earlier who informed me Liverpool can be right dicks with regards to loans too. Heard about a young lad having a loan deal all done and dusted to sign for Crewe, he'd sorted his digs and everything out but they pulled the plug because Crewe wouldn't pay them 50k up front.
  4. Dacky, Markanday and Wharton definitely all knocking on the door for a start, or at least 30 mins apiece here. Stoke have had a rancid start and definitely a game we need to be looking to win, At some point you'd expect Dwight Gayle to start scoring though and they've got Delap too - a bit jealous of their striking options really. 3-1 win.
  5. Is there not still an appeal process in place for work permits? I appealed one loads of times on champ manager 01/02 (best one). Put the bastards in a room with JDT and watch them crumble at his cheeky smile.
  6. 4 or 5 turnstiles were ticket only, 1 pay on the day. I don't think even we'd do something that stupid 🤨
  7. Good result, regardless of Bradfords league status, to only concede one with that patched up defence is credit to the lads that played. Sounds like Markanday and Dack did enough to merit some involvement at least at weekend. I'd be starting both especially if Hedges is out still. Sharpe calling JRC out for praise too which is good to see...
  8. Even if we were interested in Joao, West Brom are. West Brom don't have to wait for a carrier pigeon to arrive back from Pune with a signed cheque in its beak. West Brom sign the player despite us doing 'all we can'. I'm a positive person in general in all aspects of life, but struggling to keep watching this circus season after season.
  9. Pretty much the only real involvement Annesley has had since he's been here is the official twitter oage tweeting when he plays for Gibraltar. Forgive us for not creaming ourselves in excitement
  10. This is exactly how I imagine all our transfer activity pans out. GB is getting a load of grief but people are overlooking all the previous transfer Windows. Apparently he will talk in September, well at this rate he will be talking to say stick your fucking job just like most people would if they're working with such morons. It does beg the question why they've even bothered bringing him to the club if they're not prepared to co-operate. What's Suhail doing whilst this is all going on, or not going on? Isn't he supposed to speak to the loons in Pune daily? Nevermind though we'll announce some prayers on the pitch or an under 13 player signing a deal soon to try and keep the fans upbeat.
  11. I can see Dack sending out a massive play me next game message here and banging a few in. Really do need a win here to get that winning feeling back. 1-3 win
  12. Waheyyyyy there we have it, someone's mentioned relegation.
  13. He was our player of the season, he's obviously within budget, hell fire is it any wonder we want him back? It's not just on here either, it's our entire fanbase. We need a shot in the arm right now, he would be exactly that. The Sunderland deal is a loan deal so you're talking absolute garbage about Brighton only wanting to sell him outright.
  14. If Van Hecke and Van Den Berg both went elsewhere then Broughtons reputation would be in absolute tatters I'm afraid, unless he has a damn good alternative lined up. Although, I doubt either would have changed yesterday's result....
  15. Ayala was absolutely fuming multiple times yesterday, I can guarantee he's gonna get 'injured' soon if he doesn't get some better defenders around him. I honestly think we need a home game now and can see us winning the next few. Losing to Bradford would do a lot of damage though I feel, we need to take that one seriously and bang a few in.
  16. Lascelles is their captain and he's injured. Honestly wonder if some people on here even follow football.
  17. Isn't Lascelles their captain? He's also injured. Absolutely no chance.
  18. I suspect JDT and team have sat down and analysed every kick on Wednesday night, seems to have a real attention to detail.
  19. People are talking Sheff Utd up like they're 2009 Barcelona. Hell fire Wednesday night hasn't half changed peoples attitudes. Yes I get it was bad, do we really expect the same tomorrow?
  20. 2-1 away win, our 'league 2 standard' (according to some)players coming up trumps. Khadra to miss a penalty.
  21. Really don't know what's happened to Pickering. He had a shaky start for us, got progressively better, then got injured which coincided with our horror run last season. Ever since he's gone back to how he started, if not worse. When he's being targeted as a weak link by the opposition though its obvious we need to take action. Khadra is gonna fancy his chances at weekend, wouldn't be surprised if he starts in place of Brewster.
  22. No. I think it starts next round of midweek games. Apparently they can only show so many games on it and this round of games SHOULD have been when the world cup is on so isn’t included 🤷‍♂️
  23. Manchester to nice is what 2.5 hours flight if that, not much different to signing for a London prem club really.
