I mean you get some pretty stupid comments on here but..... They would have easily disposed of that Southampton team under Dyche too, they were simply not up for it. Luckily for them they still have a few other teams to play who will already be on the beach too, much like half our players already are.

I think I'll decide after the results on Saturday if I'll go or not. If the teams around us all win I'll not bother. It's not like it'll be difficult to get a ticket as we're faced with out lowest following for some time given a culmination of reasons. The tombola needs a massive spin regardless. If it's a nothing game which I expect, play some of the players who'll actually be here next season. Vale, Dack and Hedges should get a run out.

So if Dave Sheron is pulling strings, his cousin Mike is already at Rovers managing our U23 team...... What are the chances of our next first team manager being....Mike Sheron? Easily passed off as an internal promotion for Mike. Or am I reading too much into it? 🥲

Whilst I agree with it being weak, is it going to be any stronger next season? If Burnley come down they've got a massive rebuilding job given the out of contract players and likelihood of the decent players being snapped up. If Norwich and Watford join then they'd more than likely be up there similar to Fulham/Bournemouth this season. After that though there's not gonna be much in it, depending on how teams recruit. I think the championship has been getting gradually weaker every year to be honest. Highlighted by how Norwich breezed it last year and then went onto flop in the prem. Even the prem itself now has a gulf opening up. Liverpool and City are a class above. You then have a bunch of teams who are essentially just battling it out for European places. Then the rest. As such you're going to get the liles of Everton, Leeds, Newcastle and Villa flirting with relegation if they aren't careful. -

I didn't think it was possible to play worse in a first half than against Derby. We just managed it. Absolutely pathetic, again wondering why I'm bothering to watch as I'm left feeling majorly pissed off with the gutless display on show. Cannot wait for this season to end, if that clown is still here I seriously doubt I will watch a single game. -
As well as Sharpe becoming more critical of Mowbray, I also thought the commentary team had changed their tune when watching the posh game. They normally try and put a positive spin on things but were deflated and basically saying "this is shite and unacceptable".

Christ I don't think I've been less interested in a game in a long time. Depending on how Boro get on in the early KO we could somehow sneak back in the top 6 temporarily till the evening games. Stoke seem to have beaten decent teams lately and lost to shite ones. I guess that makes this a home banker 🤯 7-0 Rovers -
I'd reluctantly have to take some time away from the club if he did. I'd probably still do a few away days with mates but wouldn't be stepping foot in Ewood. I keep saying this but the people in charge, not just at Rovers, have no idea how much football means to us, we can't just shrug and get on with it. At a time people are having to make cut backs and budget accordingly, Blackburn Rovers will be way down peoples lists at present. Burnley are lucky they sold so many season tickets up front cos I imagine they'll face some fan backlash over the Dyche sacking.

Mowbray didn't just say he's not interested, he also went on to say: “I fully understand as a football coach and manager of a football team that every time you don’t win you can get scrutinised and the world is full of people who would have played someone in a different position, played a different team or done something different. “That’s okay, I’m pretty sure most managers take no notice of other people’s opinions, but we are the guys that stand on the side and if you don’t win enough matches then you lose your job.” That's clearly a big fuck off to the fans, he doesn't care what we think simple as that. He's GOT to be acting like a twat on purpose, there's no other explanation. The bit about getting sacked as well? Not really true is it Tony or you'd be long gone. You really can grow to hate people and its rapidly heading towards that. -

It's the hope that kills you chaddy. Regarding Accy Stanley, they're completely showing us up on many levels. You probably see as many kids in Stanley shirts as Rovers these days round here. Whilst that's partly to do with us not being as attractive a proposition these days, we could still appeal more to a child than Accy. My daughters school whilst not in Blackburn, is less than 5 miles from Ewood yet the effort from the club is zero. -
There's a player in there, he's just completely unsuitable for the style Dyche insists on playing. Not sure if he had no say in the signing or whether it was just a panic buy - they need a Wood type player for hoof ball though and thG he certainly is not!

In fairness they've managed to shift over 12k season tickets for next season. Can you see our owners under the guidance of Swag doing the same? -

Did he say who else appears in the video? I can just picture it now, a video announcing Mowbrays new contract with him pottering about urging fans to join him and the patched up team next season giving it 'a really good go'. Part of me is sat here now thinking this could actually happen too, just imagine 😳 -

I just want this damn season to end now to be honest. Every time I get my hopes up I end up bitterly disappointed and in a foul mood. Non football fans (weird folk) will never understand how much football influences your mood. A lot of the blame has been allocated to Mowbray, which is fair. Yesterday however it felt like the players didn't give a shit either. I was going to fork out to go Peterborough on Friday, but after that showing I'll not be bothering now and will go out with the family instead. -

I'm going 3-0 home win. I've said before I think we'll go on a decent run now and miss out on play offs by a point or goal difference. -

On the flipside, how many extra season tickets would sell with a new manager in place? Not many I'd imagine. The 'fan' base is stale as anything and people simply aren't arsed. Opposition fans singing "your grounds too big for you" and "your support is effin shite" have a solid point. These mythical thousands people are hoping exist, don't. I want Mowbray gone as much as most do, he is however just the lead clown in this circus that stinks to high heaven. -
Premier League season 21/22
Ossydave replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yep my thoughts exactly. I think they may well go down after last night. I also don't think they'd bounce back up either, so many poor players, half of whom weren't cheap either, I mean who the hell signed the cheque off for Iwobi? I'd be getting shut of Lampard and sending out an SOS to a manager with experience of a dogfight today. -
Annoyingly he's the best defender we own too, just seemingly got a total disregard for those paying his wages
-
In name only, the weather is absolutely trash and shows no sign of changing any time soon. Although we were supposed to be getting a heatwave in April 🤷

We've gone from stock piling midfielders to being pretty thin on the ground.... I expect most of our business will be loan deals, although in fairness we've done pretty well in the past few seasons on that front. Maybe 2 permanent signings. All depends on the Brereton situation though. I'd be delighted if we could tie Lenihan down. Not particularly arsed about Rothwell going now, Nyambe I can live with providing we sort a decent replacement. Ideal scenario would be Mowbray saying his goodbyes last game of the season and we get a new man in ASAP so he can hopefully bring a few new faces in. I would however be surprised if this happens....IF he goes we'll no doubt dawdle and get someone in a day before the new season kicks off. If he signs a new contract, well actually I don't even want to think about that scenario 😪

They might, but will they actually spend it? They've been reluctant to do so in the prem for the most part, which may well finally catch up with them this time. -

Pickering had a bad game, but do you think he's a poor player? I think he's been a good signing. Zeefuik may well stay, but we need assurances he's not a crock first 😕 -

Referee isn't to blame, we were play acting/time wasting and karma bit us I'm afraid.
